Jockey B. Richardson was unavailable for her riding engagements due to family reasons and the changes are listed below.
 
Due to the pending storm and conditions, race one started on schedule and the subsequent races were pushed through ahead of the scheduled times.
 
Race 1: BARCOO HOTEL BM 60 HANDICAP - 1050 metres
 
COROGLEN was a late scratching at 1.00pm due to B. Richardson being unavailable.
 
SOLTINHO LAD – Slow into stride and travelled wide with no cover throughout.
 
DUCK IN DUBAI – Hung in down the home straight under pressure, with apprentice T. Townsend stating the gelding was difficult to ride out.
 
MICHELIN FIVE STAR – Eased off heels at the 600m and brushed the inside running rail in doing so.
 
 RHYTHM NATION – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
Race 2: BTRC MAIDEN PLATE - 1050 metres 
 
 
L. Dillon was the rider of KOBY’S STRATEGY and reminded to exercise more care in relation to accepting race rides.
 
J. Rudd was the rider of HARVEY STAR and M. Haley the replacement rider on SPALLINA.
 
HARVEY STAR – Travelled wide with no cover throughout the event.
 
SPALLINA – Slow into stride.
 
 
Race 3: DAYBREAK FODDER OPEN PLATE - 1050 metres  
 
S. Galvin was the replacement rider for MY COUSIN BOSSY.
 
ZUKAZ – Fractious prior to jumping and lay in down the home straight. Jockey L. Dillon stating the gelding was on the wrong lead proving difficult to ride out.
 
DRAYMAN – Jumped away awkwardly and inwards. Jockey D. Rewald requested to see the photo finish print prior to correct weight being given.
 
CHIEF ADVOCATE – Jumped away awkwardly and slow into stride. Jockey M. Haley stating the gelding felt sore. A post-race veterinary inspection failed to reveal any major abnormalities.
 
MY COUSIN BOSSY – Travelled wide in the early stages.
 
 
Race 4: BLACKALL TYRE SERVICE BM 50 HANDICAP - 1200 metres  
 
AURIC GOLD, TOP EVIE and RECONIS were all late scratchings with no riders being available.
 
EMJYE – Slow to begin and slow into stride.
 
GOLDSAY – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
SAME OLD STORY – Travelled wide for much of the event.
 
 
Race 5: HALLAM PLUMBING BM 65 HANDICAP - 1400 metres      
 
 
COOL RAIN was a late scratching at 1:00pm with jockey B. Richardson being unavailable.
 
CLASSIC WIND – Slow into stride.
 
TURKEY BEACH – Over raced in the middle stages.
 
BARBERANCE – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages, raced very keenly approaching the 800m and laid in down the home straight hampering an inside runner.
 
PART THE SEA – Hampered down the home straight with an outside runner laying in, going to the line not fully tested.
