Race 1: Fiction Bar & Restaurant Maiden H'cap – 2200m
 
RED SAGA – Lost its near fore and off hind plate in running.
 
Following this race the track rating was upgraded to Good 3 at 12.45 pm
 
 
Race 2: Diamond Cut  Meats Maiden Plate – 1200m
 
ROCK GARDEN – Jumped away awkwardly.  Jockey J. Byrne reported at scale that approaching the first turn he was unable to restrain the filly and improved to the inside of MAD MAGIC, which resulted in MAD MAGIC being steadied and forced wider.
 
OF THE DAY – Had to be steadied near the 900m to avoid the heels of MAD MAGIC, which shifted in. Had to be checked off heels passing the 600m.  Shifted out to improve and made contact with another runner on the home turn.
 
DIAMOND ON COMMAND – Bumped on the home turn.
 
TIME TO REMEMBER – Attempted to shift out approaching the 600m from behind heels however was prevented from doing so by MAD MAGIC, which held its position.
 
NETZACH - Had to be checked off heels passing the 600m.
 
MAD MAGIC – Steadied and forced wider nearing the first turn. Jockey J. Lloyd reported at scale his mount was inclined to hang out rounding the home turn and then in the straight was inclined to hang in under pressure.
 
SONADOR ANGEL – Lost near fore plate in running.
 
Race 3: Brisbane Anti Wrinkle & Skin Studios F&M Ratings Band 0-70 H'cap – 1350m
 
SNOW FIELDS – Momentarily shifted in near the 1100m, tightening runners to his inside.  Raced wide without cover.
 
JENNIFER JUNIPER – Jumped away awkwardly. Had to be steadied away from heels approaching the 1100m.  When the pace steadied after leaving the 800m again had to be restrained from heels.
 
RUMERON – Jumped away awkwardly. Obliged to alter course to the inside to obtain clear running passing the 300m.
 
SHE’S WORTHY – Raced  without cover after leaving the 800m.
 
 
Race 4: Watmek Services QTIS 3yo Benchmark 75 H'cap – 1350m
 
SONADOR FIRE – Was taken in by another runner near the 1300m.
 
RED SCARLET – Raced wide in the early stages and then allowed to stride forward to position outside the leader near the 800m.
 
 
Race 5: F45 Training Class 3 Plate – 1050m
 
BALKAN BAMBINO – After being loaded into the gates, then lunged forward in the barriers. The gelding was  removed from the barriers, examined by the veterinary surgeon and subsequently passed fit to start.  Shifted out to avoid heels near the 500m.
 
START DREAMIN – Slow to begin.   Held up rounding the home turn.  Obliged to alter course to the inside approaching the 100m to obtain clear running.
 
JETTY BETTY – Bumped shortly after the start.
 
HOT GOSSIP – Had to be checked passing the 600m after being briefly tightened for room by TARZAN. 
 
FRENCH CONCESSION – Checked to avoid heels passing the 600m.
 
JADEDFOX – Briefly tightened for room after leaving the 600m and then bumped by a runner to its outside.  Shifted out under pressure near the 300m and bumped another runner.
 
QUELLE LIASON – Laid in under pressure approaching the 600m and then bumped by another runner passing the 600m.
 
DAZET – Bumped near the 300m.
 
 
Race 6: Peptides Direct CG&E Ratings Band 0-70 H'cap – 1350m
 
GOTHIC MIGHT – Declared a late scratching at 2pm when unable to be loaded onto its float for transporting to the track.
 
BEAT STREET – Change of tactics. To be ridden more forward from the wide barrier. Raced in a handy position.
 
IMPULSIVE SPIRIT – Slow to begin.
 
MARGIN TRADER – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
STONECAST – Apprentice A. Fancourt reported at scale her mount raced fiercely in the early stages.
 
 
Race 7: Konica Minolta Benchmark 70 H'cap – 1200m
 
MOMENT OF IMPACT – Slow to begin.
 
SORORITY SISTER – Slow to begin.  Shifted out near the 200m and bumped another runner.
 
SWEET REPEAT – Jumped awkwardly.
 
GOLFING – Pulled hard in the early stages and then raced wide without cover.
 
SUNNY FAME – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
ROUND MOUNTAIN GAL – Held up for clear running from the 200m and did not obtain clear running until over the concluding stages.
 
CRUISE POWER – Bumped near the 200m.
 
RARE AIR – Raced 4 wide without cover.
 
RA RA EPIC – A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be sore in both front fetlocks. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to its next race start.
 
 
 
 
 
Race 8: Designline Class 2 H'cap – 1600m
 
WHYNOTROC – Slow to begin.  For some distance passing the 1200m had to be restrained off heels.
 
GALIANO – Had to be restrained off heels near the 700m.  Held up rounding the home turn.
 
MEDIEVAL – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
THE PERPETRATOR – Jockey B. Pengelly advised he was disappointed with the gelding’s effort today and, in his opinion, may not have appreciated the firm track conditions.  A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
 
EXPAT ENVY – Jockey J. Orman explained the horse travelled in a forward position, however was under pressure from after the 600m.
