GENERAL

Stewards questioned Trainer D Kelly following a report from members of the Integrity Regulatory Unit regarding the possible treatment of RED DECK, ALDINI, HI SON and UMGENI, which were engaged to compete at today’s meeting.  Mr Kelly explained that he administered an oral paste to all of these runners early yesterday evening, however, he failed to record this in his treatment records.  Stewards advised Mr Kelly that they could not be satisfied that the horses had been administered treatment on race day and permitted them to race today.  However, the inquiry was adjourned to a time and date to be fixed to allow for the analysis of samples taken from the horses and Mr Kelly’s stables.
