Mr Sears undertook to have tests and veterinary examination performed sometime next week, the results of which he would furnish to stewards. Ms Leitch added that following its disappointing performance two starts ago the gelding had received treatment for ongoing stifle issues and had subsequently trialled well leading into its previous start. Ms Leitch further added that the gelding was able to begin on terms with the field today and from the wide barrier over the longer more suitable distance was able to lead and dictate terms, which she attributed to the improved performance.
