LIVERPOOL JANE - rider G STEELE was fined $200 under AR137A(5)(a)(ii) for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100 metres.
HOPETOUN STREET – Raced wide without cover
SHOULDA TO SHOULDA – Weakened in the early stages and was uncompetitive throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the off fore, Stewards advised trainer Mr K Munce that a veterinary clearance must be provided to stewards prior to racing again.
