Race 1: HARBOURSIDE /SWEETER SOILS/MACKEY WALES/CAMILLERI EM ‘BASALT’ MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
STARKIN – Delayed the start when proved difficult to load. Trainer J. Manzelmann, was advised a warning would be placed on the horse’s barrier manners.
DRUMMLE – Slow to begin.
YOU’RE IN MY HEART – Began awkwardly. Shifted in under pressure over the concluding stages inconveniencing another runner. Rider K. Rockett, was severely reprimanded and advised to make a greater effort to keep his mounts straight in similar circumstances.
RESADOWSKA – Raced ungenerously near the 900m and shifted out forcing another runner wider. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
MICK’S DREAM – Forced wider near the 900m for a short distance by another runner, which shifted out. Rider reported the horse failed to handle todays track conditions.
NICQUILTY – Raced wide for the majority.
Race 2: NCC BRAHMANS/ELANCO/OLLSSON’S/ZOETIS ‘NIMMO PLATE’ CLASS 3 PLATE – 1000M
SEEKTOWIN – Blundered at the start.
SAFDIE – Unbalanced rounding the home turn and shifted wider.
RAINING DOLLARS – Began awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
TWO PLUS TWO – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
BE WHY OH – Raced wide for the majority.
Race 3: MURPHY MEMORIAL ‘VICE PRESIDENTS PLATE’ CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1200M
POET’S MOMENT – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start, after being examined by the veterinary surgeon was cleared to start. Slow to begin.
MONSOON TWISTER – Slow to begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to its front leg.
CHATEAU MAROUX – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
COMESIDICE – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Correct weight was delayed when rider J. King placed second past the post, wished to view the race film to see if he had grounds for objection against the winner alleging interference over the final 300m, the whip use of J. Felix (LET’S GO TO RIO) prior to the 100m and also to view the photo finish print. After being satisfied with all concerns correct weight was declared on the judge’s numbers.

Race 4: TUFF N UP ‘LADIES BRACELET’ OPEN H’CAP – 1200M
PERFECT KNOWLEDGE – Slow to begin.
SPEADEAGLED – Slow to begin.
SAN AMARO – Hung out near the 300m inconveniencing another runner.
REVEL IN THE CHAOS – Made the 800m turn awkwardly. Checked near the 300m when another runner hung out.
STARANTE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
TURN UP THE VOLUME – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
DON’T TELL PETE – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
Race 5: COLLINS FAMILY/UNDARA/TOPX LONREACH ‘FULFORD PLATE’ QTIS BM 50 H’CAP – 1400M
COLLYWOBBLE – Began awkwardly. Rider B. Swaffer, was fined the sum of $500.00 in that he used his whip an excessive manner and a consecutive manner prior to the 100m.
WE’LL BEAT IT – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
CAPTAIN’S PICK – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
