FLAMINGO ROSE Began awkwardly after becoming fractious in barriers. Near the 600m attempted a marginal run between MESSINES ROSE (L Attard) and LUNAR LUCK (S Mossman), which resulted in LUNAR LUCK shifting outwards and taking THANK YOU (K Ballard) wider on the track. App N Nelson was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

REBEL ROVER - Fractious in barriers. Jumped awkwardly and was inclined to lay in causing App N Nelson to become unbalanced in the early stages.

BUSH LAWYER - Jockey D Ballard was unable to offer any explanation for what appeared on face value to be a disappointing performance. Trainer Ms D Ballard was able to confirm that the gelding had taken no harm from the run but had displayed a tendency to mix its form throughout its career.
