SUPPLEMENTARY REPORTS

Friday 18th March, 2016

I EXCEED- With regard to the improved performance, Trainer C Dore reported that the gelding’s previous start was first up over a shorter distance and from a wide barrier. While its training and feeding regime had not altered, Mrs Dore was of the opinion that the step up to 1300m and when able to be ridden with cover contributed to the improved performance.

OVERLOAD- Trainer reported gelding would have surgery to remove bone chips on its knee.

Thursday, 31st March, 2016

GEMINI KING- Trainer R Vale reported that blood analysis revealed the gelding to be suffering an infection and that a course of treatment was being administered. Mr Vale would further assess the gelding’s current preparation in light of this issue.

CELESTIAL SON- Blood analysis revealed the gelding to be suffering from an infection of the airway and kidneys. Treated accordingly and would continue with its preparation.

KLISSTRA- In the days following its engagement, mare was found to have sustained an injury to its near fore tendon. Trainer advised it was the intention to retire the mare.
