SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT Saturday 18th JUNE 2016 Rockhampton

Race 1- Trainer Z Hohn was questioned in regard to the nomination, acceptance and subsequent scratching of MACHO TYCOON. Stewards did inspect this horse at the stable on Friday 17th June. The veterinary reasons put forward for the scratching were accepted, however Ms Hohn was advised that a veterinary certificate as evidence would be required in future.

Trainer Z Hohn was fined $200 for failing to enact a gear change for Blinkers Off for THE GIRLS IN PARIS.

Race 1: Garrard's Horse and Hound RJC Awards Night Sat 26 Aug Maiden Plate - 1100 metres
1st OUR LUCKY LUCY 2nd SCATTERED SHOWERS 3rd ISIS DE VEGA 4th - SAURABH

SCATTERED SHOWERS - Whilst parading, got its near hind leg over the enclosure railing. The mare was examined by the Club's veterinary surgeon in the enclosure and again after arriving at the barriers, and cleared to take its place in the field.

SAURABH - Bounded in the air on jumping.

ISIS DE VEGA - Raced greenly and hung out in the middle stages, and when shifting ground near the 800 metres CAREFILLY had to be eased.

NOTHING BUT FUN - Jumped awkwardly outwards.

CAREFILLY - Was slow into stride. Eased near the 800 metres.

DECALI - Slow to begin.

DRAGONMOSS - Hung out and raced ungenerously in the middle stages.

Race 2: Australian Natives QTIS 3YO Maiden Handicap - 1300 metres
1st QUICK AND EASY 2nd MISTA BUSY 3rd KURAMOS 4th - MISHANI SILVA

MISHANI SILVA - Slow to begin.

MISTA BUSY - Slow to begin.

OUR SONG - Raced wide throughout, compounded and yielded ground in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the filly was suffering from arrhythmia. Trainer D. Gardiner will be advised to obtain a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, and must trial prior to its next race start.

LET ME SAY THIS - Raced wide throughout, compounded and yielded ground in the straight.

GAI OF THE GALAXY- Trainer reported that on return to the stables, filly may have been sore in the pole region and would be treated by a chiropractor.

Race 3: Champ Resources Class 4 Handicap - 1200 metres
1st GYPSY SECRET 2nd ONEHUNDREDCLICKS 3rd EKKLESTONE 4th - QUICK ASSAULT

ALLGIRL - Raced wide until near the 800 metres.

MAFIA PRINCESS - Began awkwardly. Jockey A. Taylor reported that her mount was inclined to lay in throughout and may have resented the Norton bit.

GYPSY SECRET - Raced wide without cover throughout.

QUICK ASSAULT - Improved 4 wide from the 700 metres.

EKKLESTONE - Unable to obtain clear running until near the 400 metres.

Race 4: Thinkwater/ Wandal Need & Feed BM 65 Handicap - 1600 metres
1st PULSAR 2nd CAMPANOLOGY 3rd TREMONT 4th - REDMIA

DIAMOND RACER - The explanation tendered by trainer G. Elliott for the late declaration of Jockey B. Appo was accepted.

WHO'S NEXT - Was fractious in the barriers and reared on a number of occasions before the start.

PULSAR – Rider fined $200 under A.R. 137A for using her whip on the gelding 4 times more than is permitted prior to the 100 metres.

MYTHOLOGIST - Jockey M. Hellyer reported that he felt the horse go amiss over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had sustained a suspensory or sesamoid injury in the near foreleg. Trainer L. Rowe said he would treat the injury. He was advised that he must provide a veterinary clearance prior to the gelding's next race start.

BIRDIE BLITZ - A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormalities. Stewards will follow-up with trainer in relation to this horse.

Race 5: Edge Restaurant & Bar Open Handicap - 1200 metres
1st SPORTING PAGE 2nd EMBRACE THE PAIN 3rd CHARCOAL MELODY 4th - EL CAPO
MISTER BOOZE - Began awkwardly.

BLOODED - Slow to begin.

EL CAPO - Slow to begin.

MIDNIGHT CURFEW - Raced wide until the 800 metres.

Race 6: Book Now! Christmas Parties At Callaghan Park Class 1 Handicap - 1100 metres
1st - BAUHINIA 2nd - IDOL FACTOR 3rd- IMPERIAL ATTITUDE 4th - ENEMY OF MAN

APEGASUS - Late scratching, at 1.15 p.m. Stewards were advised by trainer Mr D. Rideout that the mare had been injured en route to the racecourse. Mr Rideout was advised that he must provide a veterinary clearance prior to the horse's next race start.

CHINA TOWN - Slow to begin. and raced ungenerously in the early stages. Trainer T. Bannon reported that she would continue with the horse's preparation and may step it up in distance and give consideration to its preparation following its next race start.

MONTANA HERO - Jumped in onto STAR PROSECUTOR, which was taken in onto IMPERIAL ATTITUDE.

BAUHINIA - Slow to begin and then was hampered when WEREMEMBERZENNETH shifted out. Was held up and unable to obtain clear running until the 200 metres.

MISS ANNA - Began awkwardly and raced wide without cover.

WEREMEMBERZENNETH - Raced wide with cover.
