Due to the projected weather forecast of 41degrees, the starting times for this meeting were amended, with Race 1 to commence at 10:45am.

RACE 1: BARRY RICHARDSON QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000M-
 
GALSHADOW- Raced wide throughout.
 
DISCO DOUGIE- Jockey T Treichel reported the gelding raced somewhat flat today and in his opinion may have come to the end of its preparation.
 
TERRAJA- Held up early stages of the home straight.
 
 
RACE 2: MCCAFE COFFEE DASH CLASS 3 PLATE 1000M-
 
YOKAI- Slow to begin.
 
IT’S MY TIME- Raced wide throughout.
 
RACE 3: MCDONALDS ROMA CLASS B HCAP 1200M-
 
Trainer C Smith was fined $100 for presenting SIDINA with the incorrect saddlecloth. In assessing penalty Stewards considered Mr Smith’s exemplary record in relation to this rule.
 
OUR DESERT ROSE- Slipped behind on jumping.
 
MAN OF ENVY- Blundered on jumping.
 
HOVE ACTUALLY- Raced wide throughout.
 
SIDINA- Slow to begin.
 
 
 
RACE 4: RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OPEN H’CAP 1200M
 
LET’S GO CHAMP- Jumped in the air at the start and lost ground.
 
SMOOTH HUSTLER- Began awkwardly.
 
RELNINO- Raced wide throughout.
 
GENDEBIEN- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
 
RACE 5: MACCAS RUN BENCHMARK 60 HCAP 1640M
 
ARCTIC CIRCLE- Raced wide throughout. Began awkwardly. Raced in restricted room and was eased near the 1200m.
 
RUSTY SCOOTER- Slow to begin.
 
RENEWING HOPE- Raced wide throughout.
 
GUD ONYA- Raced wide throughout.
