Race 1: FOLLOW @SCTURFCLUB CLASS 3 H'CAP 1200M
 
SCRABBLE Slow to begin. Had some difficulty securing clear running in the early stages of the home straight until approaching the 300m.
 
Race 2: WWW.SCTC.COM.AU MAIDEN PLATE 1000M
 
HENRYYS AFFAIR Jumped away awkwardly and made contact with another runner. Obliged to alter course to secure clear running after passing the 200m.
 
MISTER SNITZEL Shifted out near the 700m and raced three wide without cover from that point onwards.
 
HUGS NN KISSES Slow to begin and lost significant ground.
 
SIMPLY SO Apprentice S. Lacy reported that her mount wanted to lay out from the 700m until entering the home straight.
 
SINGLE LASS Bumped by another runner on jumping.

LITTLE RED HORSE G. Colless reported that his mount got its tongue over the bit during the event and returned to scale with its tongue over the bit. He also advised that it hung out from the 700m.
 
BIMINI ROAD Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Placed in restricted room near the 1100m and had to be steadied after passing the 1000m. Held up for clear running from after passing the 600m until entering the home straight.
 
HIMALAYAN SALT Obliged to alter course to secure clear running near the 200m.
 
Race 6: ACCESS INSULATION CLASS 1 H'CAP 1200M
 
EARL OF FORDYCE underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers at the request of the rider and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 2:47 pm on veterinary advice. On the announcement of correct weight stewards ordered that all monies invested on EARL OF FORDYCE be refunded, with the following deductions to apply to successful wagers placed prior to 3:47 pm:

EL SHADAY G. Colless reported that although his mount travelled well in a favourable position just behind the leaders, he was very disappointed with its finishing effort in that when afforded clear running in the home straight it did not respond.
 
COOCHIN BOY Jumped away awkwardly and had to be checked shortly after the start when buffeted between runners. Raced wide throughout. Weakened in the home straight. M. Powell reported that the horse felt awkward in its action after being buffeted at the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to its lower lip.
 
MISS BENETEAU Slow to begin.
 
WHODUNNIT Shifted out shortly after the start and made heavy contact with another runner and lost ground.
 
CELLYSE Had some difficulty securing clear running in the early stages of the home straight when awkwardly placed at the heels of EL SHADAY.
 
PRESSWAY Broke through the barriers, was quickly recaptured, underwent a veterinary examination and cleared to race.
 
HAYLEE PRINCE Raced wide without cover.
