Race 1: TROPIC DISTRIBUTORS/BRENNAN'S CATTLE TPT/ABBOTT MEMORIAL Class 4                                                                                                          H’cap – 1000M                                                                                                        
 
SENSEOFWONDER - Fractious in barriers prior to start. Jumped inwards making contact with the runner to its inside and taking that runner inwards onto other runners.   
 
SUGAR RAY RED – Began awkwardly and contacted by another runner from its outside and was taken inwards onto the runner to its inside. 
 
SCARLET JANE – Jumped outwards making contact with ALLUDER. Prior to the declaration of correct weight rider S. McGovern viewed the photo finish after being placed in a dead heat for fourth.  After viewing the photo, he was satisfied and correct weight was declared. 
 
ALLUDER - Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
SONIC SWISH.  – Raced wide for majority of the race.
 
ZOU DER ZEE. – Raced wide for majority of the race.

ZAHA DREAM. – Raced wide rounding the 600m turn. 
 
Race 2: - M D HUNTER EARTHMOVING/SUNCITY YAMAHA/G R TERRY MEMORIAL QTIS Maiden Plate – 1000M
 
A’RICHBRUNETTE - Was a late scratching by order of Stewards acting on veterinary advice, at 2.20pm after getting under the front of the barriers after being loaded, harmlessly dislodged the rider  and galloping for a considerable distance. Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that all bets placed on A’RICHBRUNETTE were to be refunded and that all winning bets were to be paid less 33 cents in the dollar for win bets and less 21 cents in the dollar for place bets. Stewards advised trainer S. Gabriel – Royes that the filly must successfully complete two barrier trials before again starting in a race. 
 
NAUGHTY BUT NICE. – Very slow into stride losing ground. 
 
THE MARSHALL - Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.   
 
COOL CHAOS - Rider advised the gelding after leading early tired considerably in the home straight. 
 
Race 3: - NORTHERN RURAL GROUP LADIES BRACELET CLASS B H’cap – 800M   
 
LORD WINDERMERE. – Trainer R. Burrows advised on arriving at the course that the gelding had struck its head earlier in the morning causing minor loss of skin and a minor abrasion to a nostril.  Two precautionary veterinary examinations were carried out during the afternoon and the gelding was declared fit to start.  Rider advised the gelding did not handle the kick back and he further advised the distance was not to the gelding’s liking.   
 
JACKOH – Jumped outwards tightening runners to its outside.   
 
LORD WINDERMERE - Jumped inwards tightening runners to its inside.
 
IMAGINALTHEPEOPLE – Lost ground when tightened for room on jumping.
 
PURFLEET PRINCESS - Tightened for room between runners on jumping.
 
AL MAH ROCKET – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
PALM SPRINGS - Hung out round the home turn taking another runner wider on the track. 
 
HUNTING. – Taken wider on the track rounding the home turn by another runner which hung outwards.
 
Race 4: VOLVO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES BenchMark 50 H’cap – 1200M   
 
CRYSTAL BEAR – Slow into stride.  Raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
FRENCH SONG – Jumped awkwardly and bumped another runner.
 
ASHIKO. – Bumped by another runner on jumping.
 
CRAIGLEA ODYSSEY - Near the 900m shifted inwards resulting in BORN TO FIRE, being eased.   Jockey D. Ballard was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground. 
 
GOING GREY – Raced wide for the majority of the race.   
 
WICKED INVESTMNT - Raced wide for the majority of the race.   
 
Race 5: CAMPBELL'S GRAZING COMPANY/HUGHENDEN SPAR STAMFORD CUP OPEN H’cap – 1200M 
 
NIGHT WOLF. – Slow into stride.  Raced wide for the majority of the race.  
 
ANCHOR CHAIN.  - Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.   
 
HOW BIG’S THE HOLE. - Raced wide rounding the 600m turn.
