RACE 1: IGA TAROOM CLASS B HANDICAP 1000m
WUJER Raced wide down the home straight.
BOILING Refused to load and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 1:33pm by order of the stewards. Stewards ordered that all monies invested in BOILING be refunded with the following deductions to apply:

> 6 cents in the dollar for the win #4
> 18 cents in the dollar for place of winner #4
> 17 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #2
> 18 cents in the dollar for 3rd place #6
Trainer D. Murray was advised that the horse would have to obtain a further barrier certificate prior to returning to race.
DIVA MISS Stewards permitted Jockey M. Barnham to ride two kilograms overweight due to no other rider being available.
MOUNTIAN RETREAT Raced wide without cover throughout the middle stages.
NIMIA Raced wide, Hung out and raced ungenerously throughout the middle stages. Upon returning to scale, Jockey C. Eaton reported that her mount failed to handle the surface of todayys event.
RACE 2: COUNTRYSIDE ELECTRICS PTY LTD BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP 1000m
COMFIDENT STAR Slow into stride. Hung out from the 700m mark, abruptly taking out another runner to the outside rounding the home turn. Raced wide down the outside running rail of the home straight taking no competitive part in the event. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of CONFIDENT STAR, Jokey D. Evans advised that the gelding was first back from a spell and in his opinion couldnnt handle the track conditions of todayys event. He also stated that the runner progressively weakened throughout the event and became difficult to control over the concluding stages. Trainer W. Baker was advised that the gelding would be barred from competing at all anticlockwise tracks until it completes a satisfactory barrier trial in that direction.
GOLFING Slow to begin.
BIG BRITCHES Taken out wider by another runner rounding the home turn.
CHAMPAGNE WARRIOR Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
RACE 3: ANIPRO QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 3-Y-O & Up. Set Weights 1200m
CASUAL DUDE Slow to begin. Settled in rearward position and took no competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer R. Hay reported that the gelding would be retired.
HARVEY DENT Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages.
RACE 4: PHIPPS FAMILY TRUST RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HANDICAP 0- 1400m
LUCKY TICKET Began awkwardly making contact with another runner to the outside.
JORJAAS JET Slow to begin. Failed to muster early speed.
CATZEL Hung in rounding the home turn. At the 200m, Raced in restricted room brushing another runner to the inside.
JEDDAAS GIRL Raced wide without cover in the early stages.
RACE 5: LEICHHARDT HOTEL TAROOM CUP OPEN HANDICAP 1400m
STORM MAGIC Stewards permitted Jockey M. Barnham to ride two kilograms overweight due to no other rider being available.
BETTER IDEA Slow to begin.
KING LUDWUG Raced wide in the early stages.
GUD ONYA Drifted out rounding the home turn.
