A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in its off hind leg. Trainer E. Hayes was advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to next racing.

Nolan Jnr was advised that the colt must barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.

Stower advised that the gelding was forced to race 3 wide throughout which may have been to its disadvantage, however she felt that the horse was entitled to finish off the race better than it did today and, in her opinion, proved disappointing.
