Began awkwardly. Raced three wide with cover.
Bumped on jumping. Raced in restricted room approaching the 1000m and was steadied. Had to be steadied approaching the 300m when crowded for room by DEBONAIR DES, which laid in.
Began awkwardly and was bumped. Raced four wide passing the 1000m before racing three wide without cover from the 800m. Bumped near the 300m. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, R. Maloney stated that his intention was to go forward, which he attempted to do, but was unable to cross runners to his inside approaching the first turn and shortly after was unable to restrain his mount to obtain cover and therefore was caught wide from that point.
