On return to scale, apprentice A. Spinks advised that his mount hung out for the majority of the race and pulled up sore on return to the enclosure. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off fore sesamoid. Trainer R. Mackay was advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided for the horse prior to its next race start.
