When questioned as to the performance, Jockey C Whiteley stated that despite having a comfortable run throughout, the mare failed to finish off the race as expected and in his opinion failed to run out a strong 1800m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a mucus discharge from both nostrils. Stewards will follow up on the mare’s recovery with Trainer B Guy. A routine swab sample was taken.
