Apprentice S. Lacy reported that the gelding changed stride approaching the 600m and blundered, and from that point onwards didnt feel comfortable in its action and weakened badly in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination indicated that the horse displayed signs of a respiratory infection. Trainer J. Symons was advised that the horse must be scoped and a clear veterinary certificate provided prior to its next race start.
