Wiggins advised that from the wide alley he had been instructed to settle in the second half of the field. He said he could have been in a more forward position however he would have been caught wide and restrained to the tail of the field. He also had been instructed not to shift too wide on the home turn as connections did not wish the horse to be positioned wide when being asked to improve into the race
