Jockey B .Thornton reported his mount put in a number of awkward strides rounding the home turn and then failed to respond to his riding in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be making a upper respiratory noise. Trainer B. Smith indicated that he would have further tests performed on the horse. Stewards advised him that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.
