Overraced whilst in a 3 wide position in the early and middle stages. When asked to comment whether he had considered allowing the horse to stride forward to the lead, jockey S. Galloway indicated for a short distance passing the 850m he had considered making that move, however was of the opinion he would not be able to comfortably cross runners to the inside and elected to continue to restrain.
