Blundered near the 500m. INTIMISSIMI – When asked to comment on the performance of his mount, he indicated that given the horse was carrying top weight of 59 kilograms he did not wish to pressure the horse too early. After securing clear running approaching the 400m the horse did not quicken, which he attributed to the slow early tempo which was set in the event. He also added that the mare had laid in under pressure in the home straight.
