Commenced to yield ground from the 400m and finished tailed off. Jockey G. Geran advised that the gelding felt short in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in its off hind leg. Trainer E. Hayes was advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to next racing.
