14 OF THE BEST JOCKEYS DO BATTLE OVER 3 DAYS

Two new teams and fourteen of the world’s most talented athletes will do battle across three days from December 8-10, when the UBET Origin Jockey Series returns to Queensland for its third season.

See the 2016 winning New South Wales team of Michael Rodd and Tye Angland defend their title against the best jockeys from Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand and the World All-Stars.

The winners will not only take home bragging rights but also the Waterford Crystal Origin Jockey Trophy. It’s the ultimate ride for pride!

Round 1

Friday 8 December 2017 Brisbane Racing Club @ Doomben

  • Class 2 Plate (Set Weights) 2200 metres
  • Class 1 Plate (Set Weights) 1350 metres

Round 2

Saturday 9 December 2017 Brisbane Racing Club @ Doomben

  • Class 6 Plate (Set Weights) 2000 metres
  • Class 2 Plate (Set Weights) 1600 metres

Round 3

Sunday 10 December 2017 Sunshine Coast Turf Club

  • Class 3 Plate (Set Weights) 1400 metres
  • Class 1 Plate (Set Weights) 1200 metres
