Moët & Chandon Derby Day will be reimagined this year when hosting two of the most illustrious Group 1 races on the calendar.
Eagle Farm is set to be transformed with the fun, fashion and festivities of everything that is great about Queensland racing.
Moving from its traditional Stradbroke slot to headline the third Group 1 day of the Carnival, seven black-type features will be run and won including the $700,000 Kingsford-Smith Cup and the $600,000 Queensland Derby.
Over the years, the Kingsford-Smith Cup has been claimed by some of the nation’s biggest names, including the legendary Black Caviar.
Adding to the excitement, the Group 2 BRC Sires' Produce Stakes has enjoyed a stakes’ increase this year to $1 million, providing a mouth-watering preview to the JJ Atkins.
