Race 6 VISUALIZE IT Injured in running, off hind back muscle, 21 days
FOUR WAY FINAL, IN THE PICTURE and MAGICAL DUST were slow to begin. FLAUNT IT checked off the heels of MADAM MEDUSA on the turn out of the front straight. MADAM MEDUSA checked off the heels of FOUR WAY FINAL and lost ground on the turn into the back straight.
The greyhound MADAM MEDUSA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound MAGICAL DUST was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
CLASSIC TYCOON was best to begin. BY THE GALLON, ARISTOTLE and PACIFIC CHAMP were all slow to begin. SPRING DREAM checked off the heels of RUSTY’S IMAGE towards the end of the front straight on the 1st occasion. ARISTOTLE checked across the heels of CLASSIC TYCOON on the turn into the back straight. PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide on the turn into the back straight. SERENE STAR checked off the heels of SPRING DREAM entering the back straight. CLASSIC TYCOON checked off the heels of ARISTOTLE in the back straight. PACIFIC CHAMP raced wide into the home straight. PACIFIC CHAMP raced very wide in the home straight.

WHIRLY WAY was best to begin with ABBY’S MAGIC and GENERAL CLOUD slow. MINNIE IMPACT was tightened for racing room from SHE’S A NIRO on the turn out of the front straight. BOSS NUMER FOUR was tightened for racing room between WILDASH WARRIOR and WHIRLY WAY on the turn out of the front straight, resulting in OUR CHALLENGE being forced wide and bumping GENERAL CLOUD, resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced. BOSS NUMBER FOUR checked off the heels of OUR CHALLENGE approaching the turn out of back straight. WILDASH WARRIOR raced wide in the home straight.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 520m
Even start. BIG DAC and GRIN AND WIN bumped shortly after the start. CHARIOT’S OFFIAH shifted out on the turn out of the front straight causing GRIN AND WIN to race wide. BIG DAC checked off the heels of CUTE TO BOOT entering the back straight. CHARIOT’S OFFIAH checked off the heels of SURFIN’ SUE and lost ground in the home straight.
Race 5 – 4/5th

TITAN ASH was best to begin. LOVE KILLS was slow to begin. HAWKO’S MISTAKE checked off the heels of DYNAMITE SPEED and lost some ground on the turn into the back straight. DYNAMITE SPEED and LOVE KILLS bumped entering the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
The greyhound HAWKO’S MISTAKE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr. J Edwards in relation to the somewhat poor performance of the greyhound tonight. Mr. Edwards explained to stewards that the greyhound does not do his best on a rain affected track. Mr. Edwards explanation was noted.
Race 6 – 3/4th
Grade 520m
MARLISA and KING ELLIOT bumped at the end of the front straight on the 1st occasion. COIN OF PHRASE was best to begin and ELUSIVE DESIRE was slow to begin. General tightening occurred on the turn out of the front straight resulting in BAGO KYSAM, MARLISA, VISUALIZE IT, FLAMIN’ GO and BULL TITAN being inconvenienced. BAGO KYSAM was tightened for racing room between ELUSIVE DESIRE and MARLISA on the turn into the back straight, resulting in MARLISA losing considerable ground. COIN OF PHRASE and KING ELLIOT bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting in KING ELLIOT becoming unbalance and losing ground. MARLISA and KING ELLIOT bumped prior to the finish line.
The
greyhound VISUALIZE IT was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 600m
SPRING BONANZA was best to begin. FARMER’S GOLD was slow to begin. MISTER TO US checked across the heels of SANDAVE SAPPHIRE on the turn into the front straight resulting in MISTER TO US and MR. BRAND bumping and both greyhounds becoming unbalanced. MISTER TO US and FARMER’S GOLD bumped turning out of the front straight.
Race 8 – Best 8 520m
CYNDIE’S SPECIAL was best to begin. GRAND ROMAN was slow to begin. LATE ANGEL LEE was also slow to begin. SPACECRAFT checked off the heels of CYNDIE’S SPECIAL and lost ground on the turn into the back straight, causing interference to FABULOUS STORM and IVA VISION. HOUGENIE and SPACECRAFT raced wide in the home straight.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m
SPRING CHARLIE and THIS TIME REBA bumped heavily shortly after the start. THIS TIME REBA was best to begin. MAL ROSE HI was slow to begin. SPRING CHARLIE checked off the heels of HARA’S HARRY in the front straight on the 1st occasion. LADY ABIGAIL and HARA’S HARRY bumped on the turn into the back straight resulting in interference to VICTORY PRINCE. KILLARA was tightened for racing room on the turn into the back straight and checked of the heels of SPRING CHARLIE. SPRING CHARLIE checked off the heels of JAYDEN LASS and lost ground on the turn into the home straight. VICTORY PRINCE and MAL ROSE HI raced wide in the home straight.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m
BREATHING FIRE was best to begin. WAR PICTURE and BON YEO were slow to begin. CYNDIE’S MAGIC and WITH A GEE bumped heavily on the turn out of the front straight resulting in WITH A GEE becoming unbalanced. WAR PICTURE and ULTRA BLUE bumped heavily on the turn out of the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced causing WAR PICTURE to shift out tightening VEUVE who in turn caused interference to BON YEO. WAR PICTURE, BON YEO and VEUVE all lost considerable ground as a result of the incident.
The greyhound VEUVE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
