GENERAL

 

The greyhound SHE CAN DO performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.61.

 

The greyhound BLACK STREET BOY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.50.

 

The greyhound JASMINE HOLLY performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.60.

 

The greyhound REV SOME MORE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.41.

 

The greyhound IRISIZE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.39.

 

The greyhound SHOW BOUND performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.71.

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 520m

ENDLESS SHADOW was best to begin with DOWN THE CAME and SIR BLINK slow.  Shortly after the start WITCH HUNTER and DOWN THE CAME came together.  Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion LADY KIN and HANIFY’S MOON collided while CASEY UNDERCOVER shifted in tightening DOWN THEY CAME.  Shortly after,HANIFY’S MOON was tightened between DOWN THEY CAME and LADY KIN and lost ground.  Entering the 1st turn LADY KIN and HANIFY’S MOON raced tight and unbalanced.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 520m

OCCY CUT BACK was best to begin.  Down the running of the home straight on the 1st occasion OCCY CUT BACK shifted out checking NO WAY ARNI.  Shortly after, STIRLING BLUE shifted in tightening HI HONEY HO.  Approaching the 1st turn TEXAS ROLL, OCCY CUT BACK and SPECIAL VISION raced tight and unbalanced and OCCY CUT BACK fell, taking no further competitive part in the event.  STIRLING BLUE, NO WAY ARNI and SANRICO WENDY which were following were inconvenienced and SPECIAL VISION and TEXAS ROLL lost ground in this incident.

 

The greyhound OCCY CUT BACK was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

Race 3 – Novice 520m

MASTER CODY began awkwardly.  Shortly after the start CHIEF HASSLER and CORE LOKT raced tight and unbalanced.  Approaching the 1st turn BERNIE CHEE shifted in abruptly checking BY THE GALLON which lost ground.  Entering the 1st turn CORE LOKT shifted out hampering CHIEF HASSLER.  Down the home straight MASTER CODY shifted out hampering BY THE GALLON.

 

Race 4 – Novice 520m

Even start.  Immediately after the start UNAFFORDABLE and FAST AS collided.  Shortly after, CRACKING CAZA shifted in tightening ALPHA ACHILLES and BRODIE’S MEMORY.  Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion NOW FEAR THIS shifted in tightening UNAFFORDABLE.  Approaching the 1st turn general tightening caused interference to all runners excluding CRACKING CAZA and  FAST AS and TURBO OSTI lost ground as a result.  Entering the 1st turn FAST AS shifted out off the heels of OUR ELITE becoming severely unbalanced and colliding with TURBO OSTI which was following.  Both greyhounds lost significant ground in this incident.

 

The greyhound FAST AS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound TURBO OSTI was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off fore webbing and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade Heat 1 520m

MAXWELL RUMBLE was best to begin with FLAUNT IT slow.  Down the home straight on the 1st occasion VEUVE shifted in tightening TWICE AS NICE which lost ground and FLAUNT IT which was following was inconvenienced.  Approaching the 1st turn VEUVE improved onto the heels of SPRING DREAM and both greyhounds were checked.  Approaching the top turn POCAHONTAS shifted in tightening SPRING DREAM, which lost ground.  Down the home straight VEUVE and SPRING DREAM raced tight.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade Heat 2 520m

TOUCH OF CAJUN was best to begin while SOLO MISS was slow.  MISS JAX began awkwardly.  Shortly after the start TOUCH OF CAJUN shifted in tightening FAST BEAN.  Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion SOLO MISS shifted in tightening MISS JAX.  Through the 1st turn SHANGHAI LIL collided with OUR CHALLENGE and FAST BEAN which was following was forced to shift out off the heels of SHANGHAI LIL.  Entering the back straight MADE THAT WAY shifted in hampering OUR CHALLENGE.  Shortly after, SOLO MISS and FAST BEAN collided.  Approaching the top turn SHANGHAI LIL and TOUCH OF CAJUN came together and became unbalanced.  Through the top turn FAST BEAN shifted out hampering TOUCH OF CAJUN.  MISS JAX was wide through the home straight.

 

Race 7 – 5th Grade Heat 3 520m

FLASH ZOE and RIZZINI were best to begin and YOUI and MINI OREO were slow to begin.  Passing the winning post on the 1st occasion RIZZINI shifted out off the heels of DARE TO TELL.  YOUI raced wide through the 1st turn.  Entering the back straight MINI OREO improved onto the heels of BLESSED RUMBLE and was hampered.

 

Race 8 – 5th Grade 600m

I’M I SAID and NO CALLARATAH were slow to begin.  Shortly after the start MAJESTIC SEINE was tightened between WAIKARIE MAGIC and TITAN ASH and I’M I SAID which was following was inconvenienced.  Entering the home straight on the 1st occasion RENATUS shifted in tightening OXLEY RUBEY.  Shortly after, ABBY’S MAGIC shifted in forcing WAIKARIE MAGIC to shift out off its heels.  Entering the turn into the home straight OXLEY RUBEY and ABBY’S MAGIC raced tight and NO CALLARATAH which was following was inconvenienced.  Continuing through the turn MAJESTIC SEINE shifted out off the heels of NO CALLARATAH.

 

Race 9 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m

MINNIE IMPACT was best to begin with SCARLETT GRACE and MR. BRAND slow.  Through the 1st turn PASSIVE PROTEST and SMILING FRIEDA came together.  Approaching the turn into the home straight MR. BRAND shifted in tightening PASSIVE PROTEST which lost ground.  Racing through the turn STARTIN’ MONDAY shifted out off the heels of HIGHLIFE.  Entering the home straight HIGHLIFE was tightened between MR. BRAND and STARTIN’ MONDAY with all greyhounds becoming unbalanced.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m

YALINGA and DAYSEAS FREDDIE were best to begin with ELITE PHOENIX slow.  Through the 1st turn HOPE’S MISS, LAND LORD’S DIP, FASHION ADVICE and YALINGA were tightened between YOUR DEAL and DAYSEAS FREDDIE, which shifted.  As a result YALINGA and FASHION ADVICE were forced to shift out and check CREDIT LIMIT and ELITE PHOENIX.  CREDIT LIMIT was wide down the back straight.  Approaching the top turn YALINGA shifted in tightening FASHION ADVICE and HOPE’S MISS which lost ground.  Shortly after, YALINGA shifted out off the heels of CREDIT LIMIT becoming unbalanced.  Entering the home straight ELITE PHOENIX shifted out off the heels of CREDIT LIMIT.

 

The greyhound HOPE’S MISS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
