The greyhound ART OF CONFUSION performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.19
The greyhound SHYAN YAHOO performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 395m in a time of 22.79.
The greyhound EL CAPO performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.09.
ON TIGHT LINES was best to begin with BUNDY MAGIC slow. Shortly after the start ON TIGHT LINES shifted in tightening MUMMA’S HOPE, TWO BEERS and MACY DIAMONDS. Through the 1st turn TWO BEERS shifted out checking MUMMA’S HOPE and GLEBE KID. At the same time BUNDY MAGIC and MACY DIAMONDS bumped. GLEBE KID was wide through the back straight. Racing through the back straight TWO BEERS shifted out hampering MUMMA’S HOPE. Approaching the top turn MISHA shifted in tightening BELLA LEE which became unbalanced and MUMMA’S HOPE which was following faltered.
LATIN DANCE was best to begin with YES GERONOMO and FEAR LADY slow. SHAYLOR DOM began awkwardly. Through the 1st turn FEAR THE RECALL, MUGGED ON TOUR and FEAR LADY raced tight and unbalanced and MUGGED ON TOUR lost ground.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 395m
CATWALK SHOW LEE was best to begin with TEJAY’S AWESOME slow. Through the 1st turn JIMMY BRUTE and OKA’S ANGEL collided with OKA’S ANGEL losing ground and TEJAY’S AWESOME and BLACK BOMBER which were following hampered. Through the back straight TEJAY’S AWESOME improved onto the heels of BLACK BOMBER and was hampered. Through the top turn JIMMY BRUTE shifted out off the heels of CATWALK SHOW LEE and SMART ILLUSION and became unbalanced. Down the home straight SMART ILLUSION shifted in tightening CATWALK SHOW LEE, which shifted out bumping with JIMMY BRUTE.
Race 4 – Maiden Heat 4 395m
LA CHASE RAPIDE and MR. COLLISION were slow to begin. Through the 1st turn BONTEMPELLI and NOT TODAY MATE were tightened between SUNDAY SUNRISE and FLASHMAN SAM and LE CHASE RAPIDE which was following was inconvenienced. FLASHMAN SAM was wide through the back straight. Racing through the back straight BONTEMPELLI and NOT TODAY MATE raced tight and bumped and FLASHMAN SAM which was racing to the outside was checked.
Race 5 – Novice 395m
WON MY HEART was best to begin. NIL ALL DRAW, IVORY KING and WINNIE’S GUN were slow. Through the 1st turn TRU BLU DASH, WON MY HEART and ANTI AMIGO were tight. IVORY KING and ANTI AMIGO were tight entering the top turn. NIL ALL DRAW was wide down the home straight.
Race 6 – Novice 395m
MISS KARA was best to begin and BIG BAGO was slowly away. Shortly after the start ADAM’S ANGEL shifted in checking LATESHOW MATISSE, which in turn shifted out bumping with STARLINE WHITE. Entering the back straight STARLINE WHITE shifted in hampering LATESHOW MATISSE.
Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m
DAYSEAS ASTRA was best to begin. Through the 1st turn ROSEALEA, CLASY CHURCHIE, CLOUD LAND and STUART’S CHOICE were tight while WESTERN ROSE and JUST ITCHIN’ came together. As a result JUST ITCHIN’ shifted out off the heels of WESTERN ROSE and inconvenienced ROSEALEA, CLOUD LAND and CLASSY CHURCHIE. Entering the back straight ROSEALEA and CLOUD LAND came together and ROSEALEA lost ground. Through the back straight CLOUD LAND and CLASSY CHURCHIE raced tight and bumped.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Heat 1 395m
TOKATEE KAHN was slow to begin. Through the 1st turn CLASSY TOM and TEJAY’S GRAND were tightened between VELOCITY SPICE and TRAV’S MAGIC and all greyhounds became unbalanced with TEJAY’S GRAND and TRAV’S MAGIC losing ground. TOKATEE KAHN and STANDOUT which were following were inconvenienced. Through the back straight TRAV’S MAGIC shifted in checking TOKATEE KAHN. Through the top turn TRAV’S MAGIC shifted out off the heels of TEJAY’S GRAND.
Race 9 – 5th Grade Heat 2 395m
DAYSEAS DOLLY and BEAU JILLEM were best to begin with SPY QUEEN slow. Through the first turn CHAMPS shifted in tightening BOGART BLEND. Entering the back straight DAYSEAS DOLLY was tightened between AZARIAH and BEAU JILLEM and lost ground. Leaving the top turn DAYSEAS DOLLY shifted out checking CHAMPS. THAT ONE and BOGART BLEND were tight entering the home straight. THAT ONE and BOGART BLEND were tight over the concluding stages.
Race 10 – 5th Grade Heat 3 395m
SHANAE’S MAGIC and NO BOSS were best to begin. Shortly after the start SHANAE’S MAGIC shifted in tightening DAYSEAS RIGG. Entering the back straight PLUM JAM improved onto the heels of SENORITA SALLEE checking this greyhound. Through the back straight DAYSEAS RIGG checked SENORITA SALLEE which lost ground. Shortly after PLUM JAM and DAYSEAS RIGG were tight. Through the top turn BOSANOVA shifted out off the heels of NO BOSS checking CLASSIC TYCOON. BOSANOVA was tightened between PLUM JAM and CLASSIC TYCOON entering the home straight.
The greyhound SENORITA SALLEE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr. G Pettersen in regards to the greyhound’s performance. Mr. Pettersen noted to stewards that the greyhound typically needs to lead from the beginning of the race to win and the greyhound was unable to achieve this tonight. Stewards also noted that SENORITA SALLEE did receive interference throughout the run.
The greyhound PLUM JAM was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mr. N Snow in regards to the greyhound’s below market expectation performance. Mr. Snow noted that from box 8 the greyhound typically doesn’t begin well, and on this occasion was unable to make up ground on the leaders. Mr. Snow also noted that the greyhound was back from a short spell and would be better for the run.
