The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 9 APATITE Injured in running, off side pin, 7 days
The start of this race was delayed due to a fault with the lure. All greyhounds were vetted and passed fit to start at an amended starting time of 6.48pm.
BE ZANEY was best to begin with NO WAY ARNI slow. Shortly after the start DOOLEY’S HOBO shifted out checking LARINA LEE. Approaching the 1st turn DOOLEY’S HOBO, ULTIMATE WINTER and NO WAY ARNI raced tight and as a result ULTIMATE WINTER and DOOLEY’S HOBO fell with LARINA LEE which was following also falling. These 3 greyhounds took no further competitive part in the event. As a result of this NO WAY ARNI was also severely inconvenienced. Entering the home straight JUST BE GUN shifted out off the heels of DOWN THEY CAME.
The greyhound DOOLEY’S HOBO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound LARINA LEE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound ULTIMATE WINTER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
This event was run at a revised starting time of 7.03pm.
GIGGLING BEACH was best to begin with PARCHMENT slow. Shortly after the start GIGGLING BEACH shifted out tightening ANGRY ALICE, MINNIE IMPACT and WHITE MARLIN. At the same time PASSIVE PROTEST was tightened between GOT A BROTHER and WHITE MARLIN. Approaching the 1st turn WHITE MARLIN checked off the heels of MINNIE IMPACT. Through the 1st turn WHITE MARLIN checked off the heels of PASSIVE PROTEST. Entering the top turn BEAR FOR BREAKY and ANGRY ALICE were hampered as PARCHMENT improved to their inside. Through the turn MINNIE IMPACT shifted off the heels of BEAR FOR BREAKY. MINNIE IMPACT and PASSIVE PROTEST bumped entering the home straight. Down the running of the home straight PARCHMENT and GIGGLING BEACH raced tight and GIGGLING BEACH became unbalanced.
Race 3 – 5th

CHEEKY CHANCE and CAHILL EXPRESS were best to begin. Shortly after the start CHEEKY CHANCE shifted in checking SWIFT PIRATE while CERVELO checked BEAT THE BULLET. Approaching the 1st turn DON’T DOUBLE UP and COSMIC BOSS were tightened between MR. ELEGANT and SWIFT PIRATE and BEAT THE BULLET which was following was hampered. Approaching the top turn CAHILL EXPRESS, CERVELO and CHEEKY CHANCE raced tight and unbalanced. Entering the home straight COSMIC BOSS improved onto the heels of CHEEKY CHANCE which became severely unbalanced. Shortly after, CAHILL EXPRESS shifted out off the heels of CERVELO and collided heavily with MR. ELEGANT. SWIFT PIRATE which was following was severely hampered.
The greyhound CHEEKY CHANCE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – 5th

The start of this race was delayed due to a fault with the lure. All greyhounds were vetted and passed fit to start at an amended starting time of 7.56pm.
SHANIA SIND and SENOR’S MISTRESS were best to begin with BLUE DEN, KING ELLIOT and FROSTY JAY JAY slow. Shortly after the start SENOR’S MISTRESS shifted in tightening ABBY’S MAGIC, DYNAMITE SPEED, PRINCE FREDERICK and SHANIA SIND. Approaching the 1st turn BLUE DEN shifted in hampering FROSTY JAY JAY. BLUE DEN, PRINCE FREDERICK and KING ELLIOTT all raced wide through the back straight. Approaching the top turn DYNAMITE SPEED and ABBY’S MAGIC were tightened between KING ELLIOT and SHANIA SIND. Through the top turn DYNAMITE SPEED, KING ELLIOT and ABBY’S MAGIC came together.
Race 5 – 4/5th

This event was run at a revised starting time of 8.10pm.
FLASH ZOE and SUPER VELO were best to begin with DON’T GO QUIETLY slow. Approaching the 1st turn SWAP YA shifted out causing tightening to SUPE VELO, MISS JACKPOT, VELOCITY SPICE and MASTER JACKPOT. MASTER JACKPOT was forced to race wide through the 1st turn. Leaving the back straight FLASH ZOE was tightened between SWAP YA and DON’T GO QUIETLY. Through the top turn FLASH ZOE and IONA CHAMPION came together. Entering the home straight SUPER VELO shifted out hampering MASTER JACKPOT.
Race 6 – 4th
Grade 520m
BULL TITAN was best to begin. Shortly after the start RENOUF’S MAGIC shifted out checking UP THE ATTITUDE. Approaching the 1st turn RENOUF’S MAGIC and UP THE ATTITUDE raced tight and RENOUF’S MAGIC became unbalanced. Through the 1st turn GRIM CREEPER shifted out off the heels of HOPE’S FANTASY.
Connections of TEE BRADY were questioned over the greyhound’s seemingly improved performance. Trainer Mr. T Tzouvelis eluded to the fact the greyhound had been running in a higher grade in previous weeks and on this occasion it was back to a more suitable grade in line with its ability. He also noted that TEE BRADY was able to lead from the beginning of the race which worked in the greyhound’s favor. Stewards noted the trainer’s comments.
The greyhound TEE BRADY was vetted after a fall in the catching pen post race, and no apparent injuries were found.
The greyhound UP THE ATTITUDE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. V Wisener in regards to the greyhound’s poor performance. Ms. Wisener stated to stewards that the greyhound is generally stronger over its 1st section and tonight it unfortunately didn’t begin well. Ms. Wisener also referenced the interference suffered by the greyhound through the run and undertook to inform stewards should anything come amiss in the coming days.
Race 7 – Open 710m
STARGATE SYSTEM was slow to begin. Shortly after the start HOUGENIE and OKAY YETTA came together. Approaching the 1st turn STARGATE SYSTEM improved onto the heels of CYNDIE’S MAGIC and was checked. Shortly after, OKAY YETTA shifted in contacting the running rail. Down the home straight MULLAWAY and CYNDIE’S MAGIC came together.
The greyhound OKAY YETTA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – Best 8 520m
ELUSIVE DESIRE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start FABULOUS STORM was tightened between ANNIE BENZ and CYNDIE’S SPECIAL. Entering the 1st turn MAGIC MAIDEN shifted out off the heels of FABULOUS STORM and hampered CYNDIE’S SPECIAL. Through the top turn SPRING BONANZA shifted out off the heels of ELUSIVE DESIRE.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m
LARA SAINT and DASHING CANUTE were best to begin. Shortly after the start ROSDUE DYNAMO and BUTCHULLA BOY were tight. Down the home straight on the 1st occasion ROSDUE DYNAMO improved onto the heels of BUTCHULLA BOY and became unbalanced. Approaching the 1st turn BUTCHULLA BOY improved onto the heels of APATITE and both greyhounds fell taking no further competitive part in the event.
The greyhound BUTCHULLA BOY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The
greyhound APATITE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m
CUTE TO BOOT, SPECIAL GIRL and GRIN AND WIN were slow to begin. Shortly after the start CUTE TO BOOT and ROSDUE BOOMER came together. Through the top turn GEORGINA improved onto the heels of SHE’S TOO HOT and was hampered.
