Race 6 LEO’S WISH Injured in running, near hind back muscle, 6 weeks
The greyhound BLOWIN’ NUMBERS performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.30and is now cleared to nominate all tracks except Ipswich from previous offence.
The greyhound FAMOUS FOR FUN performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.24 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks.
The greyhound STILL COUNTING performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.09 and is now cleared to nominate all tracks except Capalaba and after 16 October 2015.
DOOGAL and MR. COURAGOUS were best to begin with FABULOUS TRAV and ROMELDA slowly away. On the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion CYNO STEIN checked off the heels of FABULOUS TRAV forcing CYNO STEIN wide on the turn. In the back straight FABULOUS TRAV and ROMELDA were wide. On the top turn GOLD DIVA checked off the heels of ANGEL PRINCESS. In the home straight DOOGAL was wide.
FABULOUS BILL was best to begin with FONIC THUNDER and WALL OF FAME slowly away. Entering the turn our of the home straight GEORGE GALLON checked off the heels of RHYTHMIC EARNER causing GEORGE GALLON to race wide which caused WALL OF FAME to check off its heels, causing WALL OF FAME to drop back sharply and race wide. On the turn into the back straight FONIC THUNDER checked off the heels of BRONSTER. Entering the turn out of the back straight WALL OF FAME checked off the heels of BRONSTER causing WALL OF FAME to move out sharply checking FONIC THUNDER causing these 2 greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the event. In the home straight GEORGE GALLON was wide.
The greyhound WALL OF FAME was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 3 – Maiden Heat 3 520m
FINITO was best to begin with SPRING BO BO slowly away. Soon after the star SPRING BO BO checked off the heels of MUMBLES. Entering the turn out of the home straight MUMBLES and LEGACY CHIEF collided causing LEGACY CHIEF to check BIG EASY RED with MUMBLES wide on the turn. On the turn out of the back straight FINITO and HEZA SIZE UP collided causing HEZA SIZE UP to drop back checking JUST SPIFFING. In the home straight SPRING BO BO was wide.
Race 4 – Maiden Final 395m
SPRITLY LADY was best to begin with PERFECT SISTER slowly away. Entering the back straight SEND A MESSAGE, LEVEL MISS and PERFECT SISTER all collided. In the back straight FABULOUS KATIE was wide. In the top turn and home straight SEND A MESSAGE was wide.
Race 5 – Novice 395m
SRPING ONYX was best to begin with FEAR OF JUDY and SMASH TO FEAR slowly away. Soon after the start NEEDY AND GREEDY and SHAYLOR MONTANA collided. Entering the back straight SPRING ONYX checked off the heels of WHAT’S FOREVER causing SPRING ONYX to drop back checking SHAYLOR MONTANA, causing these 2 greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the event. In the back straight SPRING ONYX and SHAYLOR MONTANA collided with NEEDY AND GREEDY wide. On the top turn NEEDY AND GREEDY and TOTTENHAM TERROR collided. In the home straight TOTTENHAM TERROR was wide.
The greyhound SPRING ONYX was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 6 – Novice 395m
ANTI AMIGO was best to begin with LEO’S WISH slowly away. Soon after the start FELIX EDDIE and LEO’S WISH collided. Entering the back straight MAGIC MOVER checked off the heels of FELIX EDDIE causing MAGIC MOVER to drop back checking ROAYL HOTEL and SHAYLOR CLEDUS. In the back straight EDGE ‘EM OUT was wide with LEO’S WISH taking no further competitive part in the event. In the home straight FELIX EDDIE was wide.
The greyhound MAGIC MOVER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
The
greyhound LEO’S WISH was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind back muscle and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks.
Race 7 – 3/4th Grade 395m
WAZZ’S FANTASY was best to begin with MIGHTY ROCKET slowly away. Soon after the start CLOUD LAND and CLASSY FLYER collided. Entering the back straight MAGIC ANGEL and KINGSBRAE BUDDY collided causing MAGIC ANGEL to drop back checking CLOUD LAND. Entering the turn out of the back straight WAZZ’S FANTASY and KINGSBRAE BUDDY collided causing KINGSBRAE BUDDY to drop back sharply checking CLASSY FLYER, who in turn checked CLOUD LAND. In the home straight MIGHTY ROCKET was wide.
The greyhound CLASSY FLYER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 8 – 5th Grade Final 395m
TIME FOR ABBY was best to begin with BAZZA’S ISSUE slowly away. Soon after the start HOWARD HENO and MARINERS BEACH collided. Entering the back straight ORE DE KAHN and BAZZA’S ISSUE collided causing BAZZA’S ISSUE to force wide and race wide in the back straight. Entering the top turn GOLD TOTAL and BAZZA’S ISSUE raced tight and bumped. In the home straight BAZZA’S ISSUE was wide.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 395m
MASTER CORSAIR and MIDNIGHT HAYZE were best to begin with SPLIT SYSTEM slowly away. Entering the back straight MIDNIGHT HAYZE and MASTER CORSAIR collided causing MASTER CORSAIR to drop back checking SWITCH BLADE and SPLIT SYSTEM. In the back straight SPLIT SYSTEM was wide. Entering the home straight MAXWELL RUMBLE checked off the heels of SWITCH BLADE with LEADFOOT MAGIC wide.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 395m
KNOCK FOR ME and SUNDAY SUNRISE were best to begin with TRAV’S MAGIC slowly away. Soon after the start TRAV’S MAGIC and SCORPION QUEEN collided causing SCORPION QUEEN to drop back checking VICKI ROSE HI. In the back straight CELTIC COLLEEN checked off the heels of REDDY RANGER with SUNDAY SUNRISE wide. SUNDAY SUNRISE was wide on the top turn and home straight.
The greyhound SCORPION QUEEN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
