CHATSWORTHY was best to begin with SPECIAL VISION and GOLDEN PHEONIX slowly away. Soon after the start VEGAS BOUND checked off the heels of IMA COWBOY. On the turn out of the home straight IMA COWBOY, GOTCHA RACIN’, GOLDEN PHEONIX and MADAM MEDUSA all collided with VEGAS BOUND wide on the turn and back straight. In the home straight GOLDEN PHEONIX and MADAM MEDUSA were wide.
HOUSO DELIGHT was best to begin with ABBY’S MAGIC and IVAN ELROY slowly away. Soon after the start ABBY’S MAGIC and LORRY DRYVA collided. Entering the turn out of home straight ROSDUE DYNAMO and LORRY DRYVA collided. In the back straight GENERAL CLOUD was wide. On the top turn ABBY’S MAGIC and DN’T DOUBLE UP were racing tight and bumping.
The greyhound DON’T DOUBLE UP was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The connections were questioned by stewards and they were disappointed in the run.

CYNDIE’S MAGIC was best to begin with ROSDUE BOOMER and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR slowly away. Soon after the start ROSDUE BOOMER crossed to the inside checking INSPECTOR CLOUD, WITH A GEE, SERENE STAR and KING ELLIOT. On the turn out of the home straight CYNDIE’S MAGIC and INSPECTOR CLOUD collided causing CYNDIE’S MAGIC to shift out checking SERENE STAR and ROSDUE BOOMER, who in turn caused SERENE STAR to fall. On the turn out of the home straight ROSDUE BOOMER was wide. In the back and home straights INSPECTOR CLOUD was wide.
The
greyhound CYNDIE’S MAGIC was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near side shoulder and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
The
greyhound SERENE STAR was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
side hock and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

Grade 600m
APATITE was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start COSMIC BOSS and OXLEY RUBEY collided. Entering the turn into the home straight on the 1st occasion OXLEY RUBEY checked off the heels of APATITE. Entering the home straight VELOCITY SPICE and OXLEY RUBEY collided causing OXLEY RUBEY to check SPRING BONANZA and GOLFING AMY. In the home straight COSMIC BOSS was wide. On the turn out of the home straight VELOCITY SPICE was wide. In the back and home straights VELOCITY SPICE was wide.
The greyhound APATITE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

PANAMERA was best to begin with FINITO and JUST SPIFFING slowly away. Approaching the winning post MR. COURAGOUS checked off the heels of PANAMERA. Entering the turn out of the home straight MR. COURAGOUS and GEORGE GALLON collided causing MR. COURAGOUS to check RHYTHMIC EARNER and TOP PROSECUTOR. Entering the turn into the back straight MR. COURAGOUS checked off the heels of PANAMERA. In the back straight JUST SPIFFING was wide. On the top turn RHYTHMIC EARNER was wide. Entering the home straight MR. COURAGOUS and PANAMERA were racing tight and bumping.

VEUVE was best to begin with UP THE ATTITUDE slowly away. Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion KIDATEE CROC and GET A LIFEBOUY collided. On the turn out of the home straight BLUE SCORPION and KIDATEE CROC collided. On the turn into the back straight BLUE SCORPION and KIDATEE CROC were racing tight and bumping. On the turn out of the back straight SWIFT PIRATE checked off the heels of UP THE ATTITUDE causing UP THE ATTITUDE to drop back sharply. In the home straight SLAYER RETURN was wide.
The greyhound BLUE SCORPION was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

greyhound KIDATEE CROC was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near
hind toe and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

LAURYN’S BEST and MINER’S MOSS were best to begin with CASH IN MOTION and NORM THE STORM slowly away. Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion MINER’S MOSS and KEYBOW collided with DON’T GO QUIETLY and NORM THE STORM colliding. On the turn out of the home straight LADY ABIGAIL and WAIKARIE MAGIC collided. In the back straight LADY ABIGAIL was wide. On the turn into the home straight CASH IN MOTION and NORM THE STORM collided. In the home straight LADY ABIGAIL was wide.
Race 8 – Best 8 520m
ELUSIVE DESIRE and ANNIE BENZ were best to begin with FABULOUS STORM slowly away. Soon after the start MPINGO and RENOUF’S MAGIC collided. On the turn into the back straight FABULOUS STORM and MPINGO collided causing MPINGO to drop back. In the back straight GRAND ROMAN was wide. In the home straight MPINGO and GRAND ROMAN collided forcing RENOUF’S MAGIC wide.
The greyhound MPINGO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

On the turn out of the home straight STUART’S CHOICE and ARABIAN MELODY causing ARABIAN MELODY to check SPRITELY CHARM forcing YOUI and SMASHNIAK CLASS wide. Entering the back straight STUART’S CHOICE and SPRITELY CHARM collided. In the back straight SMASHNIAK CLASS was wide. In the home straight GOT THE ATTITUDE was wide.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 520m
YOUR DEAL was best to begin with MISS JACKPOT, CARDIAC KING and SPRING FIRECHIEF slowly away. On the turn out of the home straight LARA SAINT and SPRING FIRECHIEF collided with MISS JACKPOT wide. In the back straight MISS JACKPOT was wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight ROCKY BE GOOD and LARA SAINT collided. In the home straight MISS JACKPOT was wide.
The greyhound MISS JACKPOT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. When questioned trainer advised the greyhound needs the 8 box and doesn’t go from the inside.
