The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 10 CIVIL LASS Injured in running, off side wrist, 10 days
The greyhound STORM RAIDER performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.79.
The start of this race was delayed due to holding for an interstate venue.
JACK AND JILL and UNIQUE KALEESI were both slow to begin. LIL’S ROSE began awkwardly and made contact with HANNAH’S BELL and BLUE PRINCE. Approaching the 1st turn CYNO STEIN was tightened for racing room and lost its position. Into the 1st turn JACK AND JILL checked off the heels of HANNAH’S BELL, resulting in JACK AND JILL racing wide from that point and the rest of the race. BLUE PRINCE raced wide throughout.
The greyhound LIL’S ROSE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Even start. Approaching the 1st turn STIRLING BLUE was tightened for racing room. HONEY MAREE which was following was inconvenienced and shifted out making contact with CYNO GENERAL. In the back straight CYNO GENERAL improved onto the heels of GAGAN LASSOO resulting in GAGAN LASSOO being checked and losing ground. CAN OF SPRITE which was racing to the outside was taken wider on the track and inconvenienced at that point. LEIGH’S MIMSEAL raced wide throughout.
Race 3 – Novice 520m
Even start. Shortly after LOCHILIME, UNIQUE RECALL, EARLY SUPER and MAGIC SPARKLE were all tightened resulting in UNIQUE RECALL becoming unbalanced. Into the 1st turn SUPREME HUSTLER was severely checked off the heels of LOCHILIME. MAGIC SPARKLE which was racing to its outside was also severely checked and both greyhounds lost significant ground in this incident. UNIQUE RECALL raced wide from the majority of the event.
The greyhound SUPREME HUSTLER was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Race 4 – Novice 520m
SPECIAL VISION, CYNO KING, CIGAR SAM and BLUE JOY were all slow to begin. Through the 1st turn CIGAR SAM checked off the heels of CARTEL QUEEN and lost ground. ROSABEL raced wide in the back and home straights.
Race 5 – 5th
Grade 520m
FASHION ADVICE was slow to begin. Into the 1st turn I’M ALL STRIPES checked off the heels of GRIN AND WIN and lost its position. Through the 1st turn FASHION ADVICE checked off the heels of OUR CHALLENGE. Approaching the back turn RADLEY RETURN was inconvenienced and raced wider for the remainder of the event. Over the concluding stages ANJA shifted out under pressure. I’M ALL STRIPES raced wide throughout.
Race 6 – 5th
Grade 520m
SUNNYSIDE JAY and BRALYN AMY were both slow to begin. Approaching the 1st turn SEND A MESSAGE and SMART ILLUSION were both tightened for room losing their positions. Through the 1st turn SUNNYSIDE JAY, BRALYN AMY and ZAFONIC’S LADY all raced wide. Leaving the 1st turn SMART ILLUSION was checked off the heels of LADY CORSAIR and bumped SEND A MESSAGE which was racing to its outside. Over the concluding stages LADY CORSAIR was held up for clear running. SUNNYSIDE JAY raced wide throughout.
The
greyhound ZAFONIC’S LADY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
near hind and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
Race 7 – 0 – 3 Wins 600m
JUST BE GUN was best to begin and BRAGA MCCOY was slowest. Shortly after ALPHA ADONIS and CHEVALEIR NUIT were tightened for room. Through the 1st turn DASHING JILLIE sustained an injury and took no further competitive part in the event. Rounding the home turn EL CHAD, CHEVALEIR NUIT and JUST BE GUN all raced tight.

and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
Race 8 – 4/5th Grade 600m
MARLUCA was best to begin and COLD HARD TRUTH was slowest. Through the 1st turn ANOTHER HASSLER was checked off heels and lost its position. COLD HARD TRUTH and FROSTY JAY JAY both raced wide throughout.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 520m
Even start. Shortly after the start SIVAMET and FORWARD PASS were tightened for room and both lost ground. Approaching the 1st turn FORWARD PASS sustained an injury and took no further competitive part in the event. Approaching the back turn SPRING DREAM was tightened for room and lost ground. Leaving the home turn SWITCH BLADE turned its head marring the running of MAXWELL RUMBLE. RICH ‘N’ WILD and SWITCH BLADE both raced wide throughout.
The
greyhound FORWARD PASS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the
off side pin and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
Stewards
advised trainer Ms. D Hannon that the greyhound SWITCH BLADE would be charged
under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a
satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.
Race 10 – 4/5th Grade 395m
SPECIAL GIRL and AZARIAH were both slow to begin. Shortly after the start MAGIC FLY HIGH, PEBBLE BAY, LOCKET IN TEDDY, SPECIAL GIRL, CIVIL LASS and BAY OF SPRITE all raced tight, resulting in PEBBLE BAY and AZARIAH both losing ground. Racing though the home turn AZARIAH was checked off the heels of MAGIC FLY HIGH. SPECIAL GIRL which was following was also inconvenienced. PEBBLE BAY, LOCKET IN TEDDY and SPECIAL GIRL all raced wide for the majority.
The
greyhound CIVIL LASS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days.
