GENERAL

 

 

Race 1 – Maiden Heat 1 331m

Even start with SHEZA BEAR slow to begin.  TRANSACTION checked off the heels of EYE SPYED YA and lost ground prior to entering the back straight, resulting in some inconvenience to GALWAY BRONTE.  LA MYRA RAPIDE shifted out approaching the turn out of the back straight bumping TRANSACTION causing that greyhound to become unbalanced and lose ground.  LA MYRA RAPIDE continued to shift out bumping I’M LATE resulting in interference to SHEZA BEAR.  LA MYRA RAPIDE checked across the heels of I’M LATE and lost ground on the turn into the front straight.  GALWAY BRONTE raced wide on the turn into the front straight.

 

Race 2 – Maiden Heat 2 331m

DOTHRAKI was best to begin.  MIMMILL VALE checked off the heels of PREMIER HONEY and lost ground in the back straight.  LUCKY NELLIE, PETITE ZIP ZIP and PREMIER HONEY bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in LUCKY NELLIE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  PREMIER HONEY and PETITE ZIP ZIP continued to bump on the turn out of the back straight resulting in PREMIER HONEY checking off the heels of PETITE ZIP ZIP losing ground.  PREMIER HONEY shifted out after turning out of the back straight bumping TEARAWAY BOY forcing that greyhound to race wide.  PREMIER HONEY raced wide in the home straight forcing TEARAWAY BOY to race wide.

 

Race 3 – Maiden Final 331m

MASTER MAGOO was best to begin.  HARA’S WHOSH was slow to begin.  GUN FLASH was tightened for racing room and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  ABBEY KEBABBEY was tightened for racing room and lost ground entering the back straight.  SO KAWAII checked across the heels of STORM RAIDER on the turn out of the back straight, resulting in this greyhound becoming unbalanced and shifting out.  CLEAR SENSE raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  PROFESSOR raced wide prior on the turn into the home straight.  PROFESSOR raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound SO KAWAII was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound ABBEY KEBABBEY was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

 

The greyhound PROFESSOR was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side front toe and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

 

Race 4 – Novice 331m

FABRE FORCE was best to begin.  MADDY’S RASCAL was tightened for racing room and lost ground shortly after the start.  FABRE FORCE checked off the heels of SHAYLOR NATHAN and lost ground prior to turning out of the back straight.  JOHNNY MELODY and BRALYN ICE bumped prior to turning out of the back straight.  FABRE FORCE raced wide on the turn out of the back straight forcing JOHNNY MELODY to race wide.  JOHNNY MELODY checked across the heels of FABRE FORCE and lost ground on the turn into the home straight.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. M James that the greyhounds KAVA GOLD would be issued with a warning for a performance bordering on Unsatisfactory.  Stewards further advised Mr. James not to start the greyhound at Albion Park until he is sure the greyhound will be competitive.

 

Race 5 – 5th Grade 395m

BOXING ROO GIRL was best to begin.  CORY’S DIAMOND checked off the heels of SOMERSET SUPREME and lost ground on the 1st turn after the start.  MASTER CORSAIR, THAIDAY NIGHT and DUSTY WAY all bumped approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in DUSTY WAY and THAIDAY NIGHT becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  MASTER CORSAIR also lost some ground as a result.  MALI COVEK improved onto the heels of SOMERSET SUPREME on the turn out of the back straight resulting in MALI COVEK losing some ground.  THAIDAY NIGHT raced wide into and down the back straight.  THAIDAY NIGHT and CORY’S DIAMOND raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 6 – 5th Grade 395m

VEE ROCKET and MISS MULLIGAN were best to begin.  EL MALAMUTE checked off the heels of MISS MULLIGAN and lost ground approaching the turn into the back straight, resulting in some inconvenience to VEE ROCKET, KYLIEMALEE and TARA MARRIE.  PRATER’S PROBLEM and MARLO GOOD were tightened for racing room and lost some ground prior to entering the back straight.  PRATER’S PROBLEM checked off the heels of TARA MARRIE and lost ground in the back straight.  VEE ROCKET checked off EL MALAMUTE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  TARA MARRIE checked off the heels of MARLO GOOD and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  EL MALAMUTE checked across the hindquarters of BOOM WARRIOR in the front straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  PRATER’S PROBLEM raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 395m

SWITCH BLADE was best to begin.  LOGGER COOPER jumped awkwardly as the start was effected and bumped FULL OF ATTITUDE resulting in FULL OF ATTITUDE becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  LOGGER COOPER bumped the hindquarters of INDIANA RUMBLE shortly after the start resulting in LOGGER COOPER becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  COSMIC COUGAR checked off the heels of BODEGA VISTA and lost ground on the turn into the back straight resulting in some inconvenience to CUZZY BROMAC.  SHAYLO CHARLIE and COSMIC COUGAR bumped entering the back straight resulting in COSMIC COUGAR losing ground.  SHAYLOR CHARLIE checked off the heels of INDIANA RUMBLE and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.  LOGGER COOPER raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.

 

Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 395m

Even start.  KINGSBARAE BUDDY shifted in shortly after the start tightening FABULOUS STORM in onto HOLLYWOOD HEARTS, resulting in HOLLYWOOD HEARTS becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  FABULOUS STORM checked off the heels of WINGED ELITE and lost ground prior to entering the back straight.  MR. SLY checked off the heels of KINGSBRAE BUDDY and lost considerable ground on the turn out of the back straight.  HOLLYWOOD HEARTS and FABULOUS STORM bumped just prior to the finish line.

 

Race 9 – 5th Grade 331m

ULTIMATE STAR and MR. WOODS were best to begin.  SUPA SMOOTH OSTI, SIP OF SHIRAZ and WESTERN HONEY bumped prior to entering the back straight resulting in the 3 greyhounds losing ground.  BLUE LEXUS and SHARKIAYA bumped in the back straight resulting in SHARKIAYA losing ground.  BLUE LEXUS raced wide on the turn out of the back straight.  SUPA SMOOTH OSTI checked off the heels of WESTERN HONEY, lost ground, became unbalanced and bumped SIP OF SHIRAZ.  SHARKIAYA raced wide in the home straight.

 

Race 10 – 5th Grade 331m

Even start with JAGGED IMAGE slow to begin.  General tightening occurred on the turn into the back straight resulting in MR. BANDALARUS, GOLD STEEL and MIGHTY ALICE being checked and losing ground.  MIGHTY ALICE improved onto the heels of JAGGED IMAGE on the turn out of the back straight.  GOLD STEEL and MIGHTY ALICE bumped on the turn into the home straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing some ground.  MR. BANDALARUS and MISS RUCKUS raced wide in the home straight.

 

The greyhound MR. BANDALARUS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off fore leg and was stood down for a period of 6 days.

 

Race 11 – Masters 395m

Even start with CHERYL VALE and NOT WORTH IT slow to begin.  ROYAL ALBERT and ZIPPING MANI were tightened for racing room and lost ground on the 1st turn after the start.  BARRIE BOJANGLES, DUNILLER and MINERAL SANDY bumped approaching the turn into the back straight resulting in DUNILLER being tightened and losing ground and MINERAL SANDY becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  DUNILLER and ZIPPING MANI bumped on the turn out of the back straight resulting in both greyhounds becoming unbalanced and losing ground.  CHERYL VALE raced wide in the home straight.
