RACE REPORTS

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M

LONESTAR LASS and FAST DANCER were slow to begin.  Approaching the back turn WHAT A GUN and LONESTAR LASS bumped resulting in WHAT A GUN losing ground.   Shortly after FAST DANCER improved onto the heels of SCREAM JET, both greyhounds were severely checked.  COSMIC LAPTOP which was racing to their outside was inconvenienced and taken wider.  Entering the home straight WHAT A GUN checked across the heels of COSMIC LAPTOP.  Both greyhounds became unbalanced in this incident.

SHE SAID WHAT was slow to begin.  Shortly after FARMOR I KNOW was tightened for room losing its position.  Approaching the back turn DANCING GUNS improved onto the heels of TEARAWAY MISSILE.  Both greyhounds were inconvenienced.  Rounding the home turn SMASHNIAK STORM was bumped and lost ground.  DANCING GUNS was checked and became very unbalanced.  Over the final stages LISA ROSE HI checked across the heels of FARMOR I KNOW.  Both greyhounds became unbalanced for a stride.  SHE SAID WHAT raced wide throughout.

 

The greyhound DANCING GUNS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

SKY RACING MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M

REIGNING MISSILE was slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn AGRO’S THUNDER and SMASHNIAK STAR raced tight causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the home turn REIGNING MISSILE shifted out bumping DRUNKEN TRICK,  DRUNKEN TRICK became inconvenienced in this incident.  GUS’S APPROVAL raced extremely wide from the home turn for the remainder of the event.

 

The greyhound GUS’S APPROVAL was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind foot and was stood down for a period of 7 days.

BRISGREYS.COM MAIDEN FINAL 331M

ALOTA THOUGHT and BARRA TRIP were both slow to begin.  Approaching the back turn STELLA ROSE HI shifted out taking ROMEO RAGTOP wider on the track.  VICKI VALE, MUTTON and ALOTA THOUGHT raced wide rounding the home turn and over the concluding stages.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 331M

TOBBY’S APPROVAL, BARRA FUN and YOUR MAYBE RIGHT were slow to begin.  Shortly after KELTIC CHIEF raced in restricted room, made contact with the heels of DRIFTWAY THUNDER, was checked and lost ground.  Approaching the back turn TOBBY’S APPROVAL and BARRA FUN improved onto heel, as a consequence both were severely checked and lost considerable ground.  DRIFTWAY THUNDER and MR. SURRENDER raced wide in the middle and late stages of the event.

6.

GARRARD’S HORSE & HOUND 5TH GRADE 331M

The start of this event was delayed due to holding for an interstate venue.

 

HOW’S IT CRUDE and CHEVY BLUE BOY were both slow to begin.  Shortly after LADY DAMA clipped heels and lost its position.  Entering the back turn GRAND ROSIE and SPRING AGUSTUS both raced wide.  Rounding the home turn GRAND ROSIE and SPRING AGUSTUS collided, both were momentarily unbalanced.

EVENTS @ BRISGREYS.COM 5TH GRADE 331M

MR. WOODS and EL MALAMUTE were best to begin with OAKEY SMOKEY, KIP KEINO and EVE’S BRODIE being slowest.  In the back straight EL MALAMUTE shifted out and bumped MASTER MAGOO causing that greyhound to lose its position.  Approaching the back turn OAKEY SMOKEY improved onto the heels of MASTER MAGOO, resulting in OAKEY SMOKEY losing considerable ground and racing wide from that point.  EL MALAMUTE and SPRING DRAGO both raced wide for the majority.

 

The greyhound OAKEY SMOKEY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 4/5th GRADE 395M

MALI COVEK was slow to begin.  Into the 1st turn BELLA BEE, MARLO GOOD and SLASHIN’ PETE all suffered interference to varying degrees.  Approaching the back turn MALI COVEK checked off the heels of FABRICATED and lost ground.  SLASHIN’ PETE and MALI COVEK raced wide rounding the home turn.

9.

BRISGREYS.COM 3/4H GRADE 395M

Even start.  Into the 1st turn TIME FOR ABBY was tightened for room and lost ground.  Leaving the 1st turn BIG DAC lost ground.  In the back straight TIME FOR ABBY checked across the heels of CUZZY BROMAC and race wide from that point.  Approaching the back turn TIME FOR ABBY shifted in and made contact with WINGED ELITE and became unbalanced.  Over the concluding stages HOLLYWOOD HEARTS made contact with the hind legs of TIME FOR ABBY. Both greyhounds became momentarily unbalanced.

 

The greyhound TIME FOR ABBY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards afforded Trainer R. Ogden the opportunity to comment on the performance of TIME FOR ABBY. Trainer R Ogden expressed disappointment with the greyhound’s performance tonight , however advised that it was the bitch’s first start for three months. Mr Ogden added the bitch had completed two successful trials prior to tonight’s event. Mr Ogden  further added that he will have the greyhound examined in the days subsequent to tonight’s even,  if any abnormalities are apparent he will report to Stewards

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 395M

FABRE FORCE was best to begin. Shortly after ONE ZERO SEVEN and GUNSTOCK bumped. Leaving the 1st turn LEADFOOT EXPRESS shifted out taking MASTER CORSAIR wider on the track. Approaching the back turn BLACK BOMBER was tightened and lost ground. Rounding the home turn LEADFOOT EXPRESS, GUNSTOCK ANDMASTER CORSAIR raced wide.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 395M

SPRING STEEL shifted out abruptly as the start was effected and lost ground.  GUNNADOO RAIDER was slow to begin.  Approaching the back turn MISS RUCKUS was tightened and checked and lost ground.  VEE ROCKET and ULTIMATE STAR both raced wide for the majority.

#UBETWECAN MASTERS 395M

Even start.  Shortly after CANE D’ORO and BRIGANTINE became unbalanced for a stride.  Leaving the 1st turn CANE D’ORO checked across the heels of NOT WORTH IT and lost ground.  BRIGANTINE and MINERAL SANDY which were racing to the outside became inconvenienced in this incident.  NOT WORTH IT and WALLY WHO CALLS both raced wide for the majority.
