RACE REPORTS

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M

ALOTA THOUGH was slow to begin.  Approaching the back turn SECRET SHAY ANNA and LISA ROSE HI collided. Both became unbalanced.  ALOTA THOUGHT raced extremely wide from the back turn and for the remainder of the event.  Approaching the back turn SEA ZAFONIC improved onto the heels of PANTS PIRATE and was momentarily unbalanced.

 

The greyhound ALOTA THOUGHT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound PANTS PIRATE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Trainer Mr. S Buckland advised stewards Monday 7 March 2016 that the greyhound has been vetted this morning and is suffering from a right tensor injury.  A veterinary certificate has been provided.

Even start.  Shortly after PLENTY OF PUNCH and MUTTON raced in restricted room, as a result both lost ground.  Approaching the back turn PLENTY OF PUNCH shifted in bumping JAYLO’S JET.  Both lost ground.

2015 GOTY AWARDS MARCH 18 MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M

SPRING DANCER, DRUNKEN TRICK and FLASHING FERGO were slow to begin.  Approaching the back turn REGAL VILLAGE and JUDY CEE collided, both were inconvenienced losing their positions.  A short distance later REGAL VILLAGE checked across the heels of JUDY CEE becoming unbalanced and colliding heavily with OUT OF PUNCH which was racing to its outside causing that greyhound to be severely checked and race wide for the remainder of the event.

SULZANTI @ STUD MAIDEN FINAL 331M

STELLA ROSE HI was best to begin.  Shortly after NAN’S NIRO was tightened losing its position and KIDMAN improved onto heels and losing ground.  In the back straight THOMAS ROSE HI was severely checked when hampered losing considerable ground.  Approaching the back turn MOCKA’S BABE brushed the running rail.  Through the back turn VICKI VALE put in an awkward stride and was momentarily unbalanced.

GARRARD’S HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 331M

NINE HUNDRED and SMASHNIAK STAR were best to begin with BANG ON TARGET, SUMMER’S PRANCER and BARRA FUN being slow out.  Approaching the back turn ZABDON VUITTON contacted the heels of BARRA FUN resulting in both greyhounds becoming momentarily inconvenienced.  Through the back turn BANG ON TARGET, ZABDON VUITTON and HANNAH ALLEN all collided causing ZABDON VUITTON and BANG ON TARGET being severely checked and losing considerable ground.  GARDA BLUE raced wide for the majority of the event.

 

A post-race veterinary examination of  BANG ON TARGET revealed no significant findings.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 331M

MR. WOODS was best to begin.  Rounding the home turn ALOTA FUTURE and ROMEO RAGTOP bumped.

EVENTS @ BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE 331M

SUMMER’S RACER and ANTI AMIGO were best to begin with WATTA STEP UP and COSMIC MARLOW being slow.  Shortly after MAGIC PASS contacted the heels of JAZZ ME UP were both momentarily inconvenienced.  Approaching the back turn SUMMER’S RACER was hampered and brushed the running rail losing ground.  MISS DENMARK and COSMIC MARLOW both raced wide for the majority.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 4/5th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Shortly after FABRICATED was tightened and lost its position.  Through the 1st turn HARDLINER contacted the heels of MISS MULLIGAN, resulting in HARDLINER having its muzzle dislodged and MISS MULLIGAN losing ground.  In the back straight MISS MULLIGAN and MALI COVEK collided, both greyhounds were inconvenienced and lost ground.  Approaching the back turn LAKODA DAWN was crowded becoming momentarily awkward and racing wide from that point.  HARDLINER raced wide for the majority.

BRISGREYS.COM BEST 8 395M

Even start.  Shortly after MR. SLY was tightened and lost its position.  Leaving the 1st turn ARABIAN MELODY raced on the heels of MR. SLY.  Approaching the back turn WINGED ELITE and INSIDE PASS collided causing INSIDE PASS to become unbalanced.  INSIDE PASS raced wide for the majority.

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 395M

TWO PARTS FREAK was best to begin.  Into the 1st turn GUNDIVA checked across heels and lost ground.  Approaching the back turn STARK WARNING and MIGHTY ALICE collided,  both greyhounds were inconvenienced losing ground.  Rounding the back turn AGUERO and ONE ZERO SEVEN bumped causing AGUERO to be momentarily unbalanced.  Over the final stages GUNDIVA improved onto the heels of AGUERO, resulting in GUNDIVA blundering and losing ground.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 395M

MISS HEWITT and TEQUILLA SWINGER were both slow to begin.  Leaving the 1st turn CASS’ CASS was crowded for room, checked losing its position.  NEEDY AND GREEDY which was racing to its outside was inconvenienced in this incident.  TEQUILLA SWINGER raced wide for entire event.

2015 GOTY AWARDS MARCH 18 MASTERS 395M

SIGN POST and ZAGONIC’S LADY were best to begin with ROYAL ALBERT being slow.  Shortly after CHERYL VALE was tightened and lost its position.  Approaching the back turn CHERYL VALE checked across heels,  BRIGANTINE was taken wide as a consequence.  In the home straight GENERATION IRON and BRIGANTINE collided.  Both became unbalanced.

 

The greyhound TEQUILLA SWINGER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the stomach muscle and was stood down for a period of 21 days.
