to Racing Trial 1 – 520m The
greyhound VENOM STRIKE performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 2 over
the distance of 395m in a time of 23.63. The
greyhound BIG SHOW HAWKO performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3
over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.53. Stewards
Trial 2 – 520m The greyhound GOLFING AMY performed a satisfactory
stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.50and is now
cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 17 April 2016. The greyhound DREAM TIME BABY performed a
satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.91 and
is now cleared all tracks. |

– DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M BETTER SIZE was best to begin. SEA ZAFONIC was slow to muster early
speed. Shortly after the start
BARCOOTA and FEAR LADY bumped, resulting in FEAR LADY being hampered. The greyhound SEA ZAFONIC was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down
for a period of 14 days. |

@ BRISGREYS MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M SHEZA RULER was best to begin with
RUSEV slow to begin. Shortly after the start TEMERITY bumped with ROSE A
BELLA. Approaching the 1st turn TEMERITY improved onto the heels
of OUT OF PUNCH and collided. OUT OF
PUNCH then shifted out colliding with BACK ON TRACK resulting in both
greyhounds being severely checked.
Through the turn into the back straight TEMERITY shifted in tightening
the running of WITCH HUNTER, resulting in that runner begin checked, shifting
out and colliding with BACK ON TRACK, resulting in both runners being
hampered. OUT OF PUNCH raced wide in the back straight. Over the concluding stages ROSE A BELLA
shifted in tightening the running of RUSEV which was hampered. OUT OF PUNCH raced wide in the front
straight. |

SULZANTI @ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M Even
start. Through the front straight into
the turn GUY FAWKES and TINK ALLEN bumped on several occasions. Out of the front straight into the turn
TINK ALLEN and LAST TANGO were both tightened for room and checked. RUFFY ROAD which was trailing was hampered
as a result. On entering the 1st
turn TINK ALLEN shifted out taking LAST TANGO out colliding with ZALHANI,
which was forced wider on the track.
ZALHANI then raced wide for the remainder of the event. Through the turn into the back straight GUY
FAWKES and CYNO STEIN bumped, resulting in CYNO STEIN being checked. Rounding the turn into the front straight
GUY FAWKES and DODSON bumped on several occasions. RUFFY ROAD, TINK ALLEN and LAST TANGO raced
wide in the front straight. |

GLEN GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 520M HEALTH RETREAT was best to begin
with EL MUFASA and MAGIC MINSTREL slow to begin. Out of the front straight into the turn
BELLA LEE shifted in tightening the running of SO SABRINA, which was checked. BELLA LEE then shifted out forcing HERE FOR
YOU wide on the track as well as EL MUFASA.
Through the turn into the back straight YES GERONOMO and BELLA LEE
bumped. On entering the back straight
BELLA LEE shifted in tightening the running of HERE FOR YOU which was
hampered. EL MUFASA which was trailing
was hampered and forced out wider on the track. Out of the back straight into the turn YES
GERONOMO shifted in tightening the running of SO SABRINA, resulting in both
runners being severely checked. SO
SABRINA then shifted out wider on the track and collided with BELLA LEE,
resulting in that runner being checked and forced out wider on the
track. MAGIC MINSTREL raced wide in
the front straight. SO SABRINA and YES
GERONOMO bumped on several occasions in the front straight. EL MUFASA raced wide in the front straight. |

GARRARD’S
HORSE & HOUND 4/5th GRADE 600M MINNIE IMPACT was best to begin with
RENOUF’S MAGIC and REALITY GHOST slow to begin. Through the turn into the front straight on
the 1st occasion MAJOR GENERAL shifted out and collided with
SARAJEVO GIRL, resulting in that runner being forced out wider on the track
momentarily. Shortly after RENOUF’S
MAGIC improved onto the heels of GEE MAA, resulting in both greyhounds being
checked. Out of the front straight
into the turn MAJOR GENERAL bumped SARAJEVO GIRL which became unbalanced and
shifted out. RENOUF’S MAGIC raced wide
for the majority of the event. The greyhound REALITY GHOST was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE HEAT
1 520M AND WE DANCED was best to begin with
HURRICAN CHANCE and CLASSY BARCY slow to begin. Shortly after the start OUR BEACH GIRL
collided with HURRICANE CHANCE, resulting in both runners being hampered. Out of the straight into the 1st
turn FEAR THE RECALL shifted in tightening the running of ALPHA ACHILLES
which was hampered. On entering the 1st
turn OUR BEACH GIRL and HURRICANE CHANCE collided, resulting in both greyhounds
being checked and shifting out wider on the track. Shortly after SOOT SPRITE shifted out
bumping PINK SCISSORS which then shifted out wider on the track. Through the turn into the back straight
FEAR THE RECALL bumped PINK SCISSORS.
On entering the back straight CLASSY BARCY shifted in tightening the
running of SOOT SPRITE which was checked.
CLASSY BARCY raced wide in the back straight. On entering the front straight OUR BEACH
GIRL failed to pursue the lure with due commitment. SOOT SPRITE raced wide in the front
straight. Stewards advised trainer Mr. A
Thrower that the greyhound OUR BEACH GIRL would be charged under Rule 69 (A)
Failing to Pursue, 2nd offence, 3 months plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M ART OF CONFUSION was best to begin
with HER FAULT slow to begin. In the
front straight GOLD DIVA was tightened for room and hampered. On entering the 1st turn
ZABALETA, FLYING CIRCUS and CAPTAIN’S KNOCK all collided resulting in all 3
greyhounds being checked to varying degrees.
As a result CAPTAIN’S KNOCK and FLYING CIRCUS were forced wider on the
track. Through the turn into the back
straight ART OF CONFUSION and ZABALETA collided. On entering the back straight FLYING CIRCUS
and LOCKET IN TEDDY bumped, resulting in LOCKET IN TEDDY being hampered. Shortly after HER FAULT improved onto the
heels of ZABALETA resulting in both runners being hampered. On entering the back straight CAPTAIN’S
KNOCK and ART OF CONFUSION bumped resulting in both runners being
hampered. Leaving the back straight
into the turn ART OF CONFUSION and ZABALETA were tightened for room and
checked. CAPTAIN’S KNOCK was hampered
as a result. LOCKET IN TEDDY raced
wide rounding the home turn and in the front straight. |

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE HEAT 3 520M CAPTAIN THURSDAY and FAST
AS were slow to begin. Shortly after
the start FAST AS improved onto the heels of SPLIT SYSTEM and was
checked. On entering the 1st
turn DARCY’S FANTASY and SPLIT SYSTEM bumped, resulting in DARCY’S FANTASY
being checked and forced out wider on the track. Out of the back straight into the turn
SHEZA SENSATION shifted in tightening the running of FAST AS, which was
checked. Shortly after SMASHNIAK CLASS
shifted in tightening the running of CAPTAIN THURSDAY which resulted in that
runner being checked and shifting out wider colliding with SPLIT SYSTEM,
which in turn was taken out wider on the track. DARCY’S FANTASY which was trailing
was hampered and forced out wider as a result. ALPHA MIMOS raced wide in the back
straight. On entering the front
straight SMASHNIAK CLASS and COSMIC MARLOW bumped. Over the concluding stages CAPTAIN THURSDAY
and SPLIT SYSTEM bumped. The greyhound COSMIC
MARLOW was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

was checked. Out of the back straight
into the turn SOMERSET SUPREME shifted in tightening the running of HER STORY
which was checked. Through the turn
into the front straight ANOTHER HASSLER improved onto the heels of CELESTIAL
SELENE, checked and shifted out wider on the track. IMA COWBOY raced wide on the back straight. |
