The greyhound CYNO STEIN was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Trainer Mr. G McGahan was questioned into the seemingly disappointing performance of CYNO STEIN, Mr Mcgahan was of the opinion that the performance of CYNO STEIN in today’s event was somewhat disappointing which he put down to a training mishap which occurred on his property earlier in the day where CYNO STEIN had become loose during a training session in which the greyhound may have exerted itself to a greater degree than would be his normal preparation.  After considering the matter stewards charged trainer Mr. G McGahan under Rule 32 in that he did not report to the stewards as soon as practicable any condition or occurrence that may have effected its running in the event.  Mr. G McGahan was fined $200 and advised of his rights of appeal.
