Even start with ABBY’S MAGIC slowly away.  Entering the turn into the home straight on the 1st occasion NUREYEV was wide.  On the turn out of the home straight ALPHA ACHILLES and NUREYEV were racing tight and bumping.  On the turn and back straight TAIPAN’S TIME was wide.  In the home straight TAIPAN’S TIME was wide.

Even start with IN THE PICTURE and TINY TURBO slow to begin.  On the turn into the home straight TINY TURBO was wide.  Approaching the winning post on the 1st occasion KINLOCH BEACH and LADY SPRING collided.  On the turn out of the home straight KINLOCH BEACH and LADY SPRING were racing tight and bumping with SUNNYSIDE JAY wide.  In the back straight SUNNYSIDE JAY was wide.  In the home straight SUNNYSIDE JAY and TINY TURBO were wide.

 

The greyhound TINY TURBO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound LADY SPRING was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards interviewed trainer Mr. R Gardoll.  Mr. Gardoll stated the he did support the greyhound and he was disappointed in the run.  He also stated that the greyhound has to lead and with the greyhound being pressured during the race and not finding the fence was one of the main factors in the greyhound’s performance.

CHEEKY FREYER was best to begin with COLD HARD TRUTH and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR slowly away.  Entering the turn into the home straight KNIGHTS TEMPLAR and COLD HARD TRUTH collided causing KNIGHTS TEMPLAR to drop back sharply.  In the home straight APATITE and MINNIE IMPACT collided.  On the turn out of the home straight CHEEKY FREYER and COLD HARD TRUTH were wide.  In the back straight CHEEKY FREYER was wide.  Entering the turn out of the back straight CHEVALEIR NUIT and CHEEKY FREYER collided.  Entering the home straight APATITE and CHEVALEIR NUIT collided.

 

The greyhound APATITE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound KNIGHTS TEMPLAR was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

FRANCE SOIR and BIG HARRY were best to begin with KIDATEE DAN slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight FRANCE SOIR checked off the heels of FABULOUS BILL causing FRANCE SOIR to check TRIPUM, who in turn checked ZABDON LAMBO with ZABDON LAMBO shifting out checking FRENCH IDOL and KIDATEE DAN, causing these 2 greyhounds to take no further competitive part in the event.  In the home straight ZABDON LAMBO was wide.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD QLD DERBY HEAT 2 520M

ALPHA MIMOS was best to begin with MAGICAL YESSAM and TILLY ‘S BOY slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight WINDORAH JACK checked off the heels of ALPHA MIMOS causing WINDORAH JACK to drop back checking BOOM WARRIOR, forcing BOOM WARRIOR wide.  On the turn out of the home straight TILLY’S BOY was wide.  In the back straight ALPHA MIMOS was wide.  Entering the home turn TILLY’S BOY was wide.

 

The greyhound WINDORAH JACK was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

FINITO was best to begin with ISA STAR slowly away.  Soon after the start KING SIZED and YAMANTO collided causing KING SIZED to drop back sharply.  On the turn out of the home and back straights DUNDEE OSPREY was wide.  In the home straight DUNDEE OSPREY was wide.

 

The greyhound ISA STAR was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

FABREGAL and IRONBAR JILL were best to begin with OREO DELIGHT and DOKMAI slow to begin.  Approaching the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion OREO DELIGHT and DOKMAI collided.  On the turn out of the home straight IRONBAR JILL and SHEZA KEEN SIZE collided.  Entering the turn into the back straight DOKMAI and VIDI VICI collided.  In the back straight OREO DELIGHT was wide.  In the home straight IRONBAR JILL was wide.

 

The greyhound DOKMAI was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards interviewed trainer Ms. J Fisher who advised that the greyhound was checked and when that occurs the greyhound on occasion does not perform well Ms. Fisher stated that and they do not support their greyhounds.

Even start with HOPE’S MAGIC slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion WHIRLY WAY, BRAGA MCCOY and CASH IN MOTION all collided, causing WHIRLY WAY to check OUTSIDE PASS.  On the turn out of the home straight CYNDIE’S MAGIC was wide.  Entering the turn into the back straight IONA CHAMPION checked off the heels of HOPE’S MAGIC.  On the turn out of the back straight CASH IN MOTION checked off the heels of WHIRLY WAY.  In the home straight BRAGA MCCOY was wide.

FLASH HOUDINI was best to begin with SLAYER RETURN slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight GRAND ROMAN checked off the heels of SLAYER RETURN, causing SLAYER RETURN to check SHYAN YAHOO.  Entering the back straight MPINGO checked off the heels of SLAYER RETURN.  In the back straight MPINGO was wide.  On the top turn EL CHAD and SLAYER RETURN were racing tight and bumping.  In the home straight GRAND ROMAN was wide.

 

The greyhound KNAVE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
