– DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 331M SECRET SHAY ANNA was best to
begin. Shortly after the start RUBY WE
KNOW was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
POPULAR BELIEF shifted out and made contact with LISA ROSE HI causing that
greyhound to be checked and lose ground.
In the back straight BENMESSO and GRIMM’S BOY collided causing GRIMM’S
BOY to be checked and lose ground.
Rounding the turn into the front straight RUBY WE KNOW and LISA ROSE
HI collided causing both greyhounds to be checked. The greyhound ABBEY KEBABBEY was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
Trainer Mr. D McGrath explained that the greyhound was having its 1st
start since a short let up previously running 2nd at Albion Park
on the 27 March 2016, where it pulled up sore after that event. He stated that ABBEY KEBABBEY had trailled
well leading up to today’s race and he was satisfied that the greyhound was
fit to take its place in the event.
Mr. McGrath explained that in his view ABBEY KEBABBEY is a greyhound of
limited ability and had been run down at its previous race starts however, he
was of the view that when ABBEY KEBABBEY missed the start this was a direct
influence on its overall performance where in tonight’s event its 1st
sectional was run in 7.30 seconds where previously the greyhound had begun in
7.13 seconds. Stewards noted his
explanation. |

slow to begin. Rounding the turn into
the back straight LITTLE GRIS shifted in and tightened the racing room of
DESSA TEASE causing that greyhound to be checked, and lose ground. LUCY MOO which was trailling was checked as
a consequence. In the back straight
LITTLE GRIS shifted in and tightened the racing room of HILLBILLY ROCKET
causing that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. Leaving the back straight DESSA TEASE
contacted the hindquarters of LITTLE GRIS causing both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. |

SULZANTI @ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M WIGGLE,
PROPER HAWK and HENDERSON BLACK were best to begin. PROPER HAWK commenced to give ground out of
the back straight. FLY WEIGHT was
inconvenienced as a result of this incident. The
greyhound PROPER HAWK was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

best to begin. EDGAR and BROWN MAGIC
were slow out. Entering the back
straight EDGAR was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Leaving the back straight BROWN MAGIC raced
wide. In the front straight DOTHRAKI
shifted out and clipped the heels of MR. DEXTER and was momentarily hampered. |

were best to begin. FAST DANCER was
slow out. Entering the back straight
THAT’S MY PIE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight DUSTY’S CHANCE contacted
the running rail. Leaving the back
straight FONIC FLYER and FAST DANCER collided. The greyhound DUSTY’S CHANCE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

back straight SHAYLOR MONTANA clipped the heels of TAX LOOPHOLE, shifted out
and made contact with JUDY CEE causing both greyhounds to be severely
checked. SOCIAL CLIMBER which was
racing to its outside was severely as a consequence. |

begin. Entering the back straight
FOLLOW THE GOLD was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the back straight GEORGE GALLON was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Entering the front straight GEORGE GALLON and BETOWN GEM raced wide. The greyhound MAGIC MOVER
was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was
stood down for a period of 10 days. |

RACING 3/4th GRADE 395M KNOCK FOR ME and GRAND ROSIE were
best to begin. Through the 1st
turn ALOTA FUTURE, TASER SHOCK, COSMIC LILY and MODERN MISS raced tight,
resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered.
In the back straight ALOTA FUTURE was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. Rounding the
turn into the front straight ALOTA FUTURE and COSMIC LILY collided. |

HOPE and CAZORLA collided causing both greyhounds to be checked. In the back straight CAZORLA was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight CAZORLA clipped the heels of MUMMA’S HOPE
and shifted out causing both greyhounds to be hampered. In the front straight MUMMA’S HOPE and JAKE
WE KNOW collided, causing both greyhounds to be checked. The greyhound MUMMA’S HOPE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

5th GRADE 395M Even start. ADDY BEE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start BETTY’S GEM was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after MR. CODY was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the back straight MARLOW GOOD was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight ADDY BEE made heavy contact with the
hindquarters of MR. CODY causing that greyhound to be severely checked and
lost considerable ground. Rounding the
turn out of the back straight MARLO GOOD and HARA’S BRACELET bumped. The greyhound HARA’S BRACELET was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off hind toe and was stood
down for a period of 10 days. |
