Return to Racing Trial 1 – 520m

The greyhound PAY SHEET performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 1 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.53.

 

The greyhound VENOM STRIKES performed a satisfactory Return to Racing Trial 3 over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.06.

 

The greyhound SPLIT IT performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time of 19.25.

 

RACE REPORTS

 

1.

UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 520M

JAYDEN’S A STAR was slow to begin,  BASILICO began awkwardly.  Approaching the 1st turn ZALHANI was tightened and lost its position,  BASILICO was bumped in this incident.  Into the 1st turn BASILICO was taken wider on the track.  Approaching the back turn MY FIRST SIZE shifted in tightening GNASHER as a result GNASHER lost ground.  Entering the home straight MCCAW MCCAW was checked across the heels of JAYDEN’S A STAR.

 

The greyhound BASILICO was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound BLACK AQUILA was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer’s representative Ms. T Fuller that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance, must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks prior to nominating.

LUCKY SALLY was best to begin.  Into the 1st turn PLENTY OF PUNCH shifted out forcing MISS FELIX and TRICODE ALL SHOW wide through the 1st turn.  BOGIE BEKIM checked off heels and raced wide as a consequence.  MISS FELIX and MAGIC MINSTREL raced wide in the home straight.

SULZANTI @ STUD NOVICE 520M

FABULOUS LENY and TIP YA CAP were slow to begin.  Shortly after NORDOC MAGIC shifted in inconveniencing STEALTH FIGHTER.  Leaving the 1st turn FABULOUS LENY improved onto the heels of TIP YA CAP and lost ground.  Over the concluding stages OUT OF PUNCH marring the running of ALL BECAUSE.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. D Turley that the greyhound OUT OF PUNCH would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 3/4th GRADE 520M

ALAN’S KIDZ and SOCCER BALL were best to begin.  Shortly after SOCCER BALL shifted in and BUTCHULLA BOY shifted out resulting in GREAT KNOCK THAT, FORTUNE FADED and TORQUE FLIGHT all being tightened. As a consequence GREAT KNOCK THAT and FORTUNE FADED lost ground.  Into the 1st turn BUTCHULLA BOY clipped heels and blundered losing its position.  Rounding the home turn TORQUE FLIGHT improved onto the heels of ALAN’S KIDZ becoming momentarily awkward.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 600M

As the start was effected ELUSIVE DESIRE bounded in the air missing the start MAJOR GENERAL was slow to begin.  Through the catching pen GUNNA WINK and YOUI collided,  GUNNA WINK became momentarily unbalanced.  In the back straight MAJOR GENERAL and GUNNA WINK collided resulting in GUNNA WINK losing ground.  YOUI and GOLD DIVA both raced wide for the majority.

SKY RACING 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M

SHANAE’S MAGIC and SLASHIN’ PETE were best to begin.  Shortly after FLYING CIRCUS and BEAT THE BULLET bumped, both became momentarily unbalanced.  Approaching the 1st turn SLASHIN’ PETE shifted in taking BARCIA BLUE and ISSY COOL across to the inside rail, as a result SHANAE’S MAGIC, STILL COUNTING and ISSY COOL all suffered interference and lost ground in this incident.  FLYING CIRCUS raced wide for the majority.

EVENTS @ BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M

MISS HEWITT and CLASSY BARCY were slow to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn COSMIC SPLIT was crowded for room, checked and lost ground.  Into the 1st turn CRY LATER was tightened and checked across heels.  SHADEENA and TRAV’S MAGIC also suffered interference and lost their positions in this incident.  Through the 1st turn COSMIC SPLIT improved onto the heels of SMASHNIAK STAR, both greyhounds momentarily lost momentum.  Leaving the 1st turn CRY LATER contacted the heels of SMASHNIAK STAR and shifted wider bumping MISS HEWITT which was racing to its outside, those greyhounds lost ground in this incident.  MISS HEWITT raced wide in the back and home straights.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE HEAT 3 520M

SOOT SPRITE was best to begin with JETT CLASS, ARDVARK and CARDIAC KING being slow.  JUST SPIFFING, JOHNNY MELODY and EL MUFASA raced wide for the majority.  SOOT SPRITE and ARDVARK bumped over the concluding stages.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE HEAT 4 520M

Even start.  Approaching the 1st turn BLUEY’S SHOUT shifted in abruptly tightening NO WAY ARNI and FLAUNT IT.  NO WAY ARNI lost its position in this incident, FEAR THE RECALL and TWISTED which were to its outside were taken wider.  Through the 1st turn FLAUNT IT checked off the heels of BLUEY’S SHOUT.  Rounding the home turn ROYAL PRIZE improved onto the heels of SPRITLY LADY becoming momentarily unbalanced and shifted in making contact with NO WAY ARNI, both became momentarily unbalanced.  FLAUNT IT raced wide for the majority.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE HEAT 520M

AND WE DANCED was slow to begin.  Approaching the 1st turn HOUINDEED and AND WE DANCED were crowded for room and lost ground.  BIRKDALE BANDIT and ANOTHER HASSLER also became unbalanced in this incident.  Through the 1st turn AND WE DANCED and BIRKDALE BANDIT collided,  AND WE DANCED lost considerable ground in this incident.  Rounding the home turn ANOTHER HASSLER checked across the heels of SHOTOTSU.  Over the final stages SHOTOTSU checked across the heels of KATHIE’S FLASH.  BIRKDALE BANDIT raced wide for the majority of the event.
