GELANTIPY GOLD was best to begin with FROSTY BROWN and COSMO TRAV slowly away.  Soon after the start PREPARE YOURSELF shifted in checking BARRA FUN.  Approaching the winning post BARRA FUN shifted out checking TREBLIG LUCIA.  On the turn out of the home straight BARRA FUN and PREPARE YOURSELF collided forcing PREPARE YOURSELF wide on the turn.  In the back and home straights TREBLIG LUCIA was wide.

LILLTE FONZIE was best to begin with MILKY CHANCE slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight KNEW YOU WOULD and GALLARI collided causing GALLARI to check MY FIRST SIZE and TURN AND BURN.  On the turn out of the home straight and into the back straight GALLARI and MY FIRST SIZE were racing tight and bumping.  In the back and home straights KNEW YOU WOULD was wide.

 

The greyhound GALLARI was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start with SUNNYSIDE JAY slowly away.  Entering the turn into the home straight MINNIE IMPACT and KINLOCH BEACH collided.  In the home straight CHEEKY FREYER was wide.  Entering the turn out of the home straight MINNIE IMPACT and KINLOCH BEACH collided, causing MINNIE IMPACT to drop back checking SUNNYSIDE JAY, causing MINNIE IMPACT to take no further competitive part in the event.  In the back straight ALPHA MIMOS was wide.  Entering the turn into the home straight SUNNYSIDE JAY shifted out making muzzle contact with ALPHA MIMOS, causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide.

 

The greyhound MINNIE IMPACT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The greyhound SUNNYSIDE JAY was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. T Zammit that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 600m all tracks.

Even start with GOOD CALL PAUL slowly away.  Entering the turn into the home straight on the 1st occasion GOOD CALL PAUL checked off the heels of SARAJEVO GIRL with MAGIC MAIDEN wide.  On the turn out of the home straight CHEEKY CHANCE was wide.  In the back and home straights MAGIC MAIDEN was wide.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M

PACIFIC HARBOUR was best to begin with SHOTOTSU slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight ALPHA ACHILLES and SENOR’S MISTRESS collided.  On the turn out of the home straight SHOTOTSU was wide.  In the back straight SHOTOTSU checked off the heels of SMOKEM UP SMOKEY.  Entering the home straight SENOR’S MISTRESS and SHOTOTSU collided forcing SHOTOTSU wide into the home straight.

 

The greyhound SHOTOTSU was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Trainer Mr. D McGrath stated that he thought the greyhound was flat after the win on Monday night due to the track being heavy.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 520M

UP THE ATTITUDE was best to begin with IRONBAR JILL and DON’T GO QUIETLY slowly away.  On the turn out of the home straight IRONBAR JILL and BOOM WARRIOR collided causing BOOM WARRIOR to check DON’T GO QUIETLY.  In the back straight IRONBAR JILL and DON’T GO QUIETLY collided with THIRTY TALKS wide.  On the top turn and home straight BOOM WARRIOR was wide.

 

The greyhound IRONBAR JILL was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Trainer Mr. A Sommerfield was questioned by stewards.  Mr. Sommerfield stated that he doesn’t support his greyhounds and that the greyhound has a habit of coming up with the lids and that he was disappointed with the run and he intends to give the greyhounds a spell.

Even start with GRAND ROMAN slowly away.  Soon after the start KULU CHA CHING crossed checking FAST BEAN.  On the turn out of the home straight KULU CHA CHING and SERENE STAR collided.  Entering the back straight NO CALLARATAH checked off the heels of MPINGO, causing NO CALLARATAH to drop back checking FAST BEAN with NO CALLARATAH taking no further competitive part in the event.  In the back and home straights MPINGO was wide.

 

The greyhound SERENE STAR was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Connections were questioned by stewards.  They advised they supported the greyhound and when the greyhound was crowded up it she came home well and the greyhound suffered some inconvenience in the race.

 

The greyhound NO CALLARATAH was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. J Edwards that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks.

FULL OF ATTTITUDE was best to begin with ABBY’S MAGIC slowly away.  Entering the turn out of the home straight on the 1st occasion LADY ABIGAI, WHIRLY WAY and FABULOUS BILL all collided.  On the turn out of the home straight WHIRLY WAY and ABBY’S MAGIC collided.  Entering the back straight CASH IN MOTION checked off the heels of FULL OF ATTITUDE.  In the back straight FABULOUS BILL checked off the heels of VEUVE.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight WHIRLY WAY and ABBY’S MAGIC collided.

 

The greyhound FULL OF ATTITUDE was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 10 days.

SHOW BOUND was best to begin with the remainder evenly away.  Soon after the start RUSTY’S IMAGE and SIDBO collided.  Entering the turn out of the home straight TASER SHOCK checked off the heels of RUSTY’S IMAGE.  Entering the back straight NAPALM and TASER SHOCK collided causing NAPALM to drop back checking FASHION ADVICE, who fell checking IRMA ADELINE.  In the back straight RUSTY’S IMAGE was wide.  Approaching the winning post NAPALM and RUSTY’S IMAGE collided.

 

The greyhound FASHION ADVICE was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. G Bowe that the greyhound NAPALM would be charged under Rule 71 Unsatisfactory Performance and must perform a satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks prior to nominating.

Even start.  Entering the turn out of the home straight SMASHNIAK MARCY checked off the heels of ARABIAN SHREDDE causing ARABIAN SHREDDER to drop back, who in turn caused FLYING CIRCUS to check off the heels of ARABIAN SHREDDER checking YES GERONOMO.  On the turn out of the home straight GIFT BOX and REFUND REQUIRED collided causing GIFT BOX to shift in checking FLYING CIRCUS.  In the back and home straights REFUND REQUIRED was wide.
