The greyhound CLASSY CHURCHIE performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 395m in a time of 23.10.

Stewards Trial 1 – 520m

The greyhound NAPALM performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in a time of 30.16.

RACE REPORTS

DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M

JIMARY GIZMO was slow to begin. Approaching the 1^st turn BEAR contacted the heels of LAW LEGEND, became awkward and shifted out colliding with DARK DEFENDER causing that greyhound to be inconvenienced. HONEY HORNET, JUSTA TEIRA and JIMARY GIZMO which were racing to its outside all lost considerable ground. In the back straight DARK DEFENDER and JIMARY GIZMO bumped on several occasions. Rounding the back turn JIMARY GIZMO and BEAR bumped. Approaching the back turn JIMARY GIZMO checked across the heels of HONEY HORNET.

DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M

Even start. Shortly after LOGAN CITY shifted in bumping SPRING MARSHALL, which in turn made contact with TOVERAAR. Both greyhounds lost ground. Approaching the 1^st turn LOGAN CITY shifted in abruptly making heavy contact with JAYDEN’S A STAR. Both greyhounds were inconvenienced in this incident. Approaching the back turn TOVENAAR checked off the heels of SUKHOI. JAYDEN’S A STAR suffered interference and lost ground. JAYDEN’S A STAR, SUKHOI and TOVENAAR raced wide for the majority.

3.	DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL MAIDEN HEAT 3 520M SMASHNIAK SMASH was best to begin. Shortly after COOKIE NO CREAM shifted in inconveniencing PYRO BOB, SMART MARLOW and LEEROY ROGUE, causing LEEROY ROGUE and WISH YOU WILL to lose their positions. Approaching the 1^st turn DODSON and LEEROY ROGUE bumped. Both became unbalanced and lost ground. Approaching the back turn LEEROY ROGUE improved onto the heels of COOKIE NO CREAM and lost ground. HUNTER’S A STAR, WISH YOU WILL and PYRO BOB raced wide for the majority.

4.	DAVE BRETT MEMORIAL MAIDEN HEAT 4 520M SANRICO ROSIE and RUSEV were slow to begin. Into the 1^st turn RUSEV shifted out bumping FLASH VENTURE. They bumped again through the 1^st turn. In the back straight SMASHNIAK TASER checked across the heels of SEE THAT. Approaching the back turn SMASHNIAK TASER improved onto the heels of SEE THAT and lost momentum. RUSEV raced wide throughout.

SKY RACING MAIDEN FINAL 395M

WHERE’S HOPE was slow to begin. Through the 1^st turn BLAZING BENJI raced in restricted room and lost its position. Leaving the 1^st turn PANTS PIRATE was tightened and lost ground. BLAZING BENJI which was following was checked as a result. Approaching the back turn KNOCKA ROUND improved onto the heels of COSMO LEN and was inconvenienced.

HIGH CLASS MISS and BRAE HEART were slow to begin. Through the 1^st turn HIGH CLASS MISS, BLACK PARADOX and ANGELIC MISS collided. All were checked and lost ground. Approaching the back turn SIMPLY MAGIC, BRAE HEART and LAKODA DAWN raced tight resulting in BRAE HEART and LAKODA DAWN being forced wider on the track and losing ground. LAKODA DAWN raced wide for the majority.

7.	UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP BEST 8 395M ROYAL PRIZE was slow to begin. Through the 1^st turn ALBARTROSS and TIME FOR ABBY were crowded for room and severely checked. WAZZA KING which was following was inconvenienced. TIME FOR ABBY raced wide throughout. The greyhound ALBARTROS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.

8.	SULZANTI @ STUD 5^th GRADE HEAT 1 395M SHAYLOR SAM, OAKEY BOY, GLEBE KID and NINA ROSE HI were slow to begin. Shortly after GLEBE KID checked across heels and lost its position. Leaving the 1^st turn OAKEY BOY and NINA ROSE HI collided. Both lost ground. In the back straight SHAYLOR SAM checked across the heels of MINNIE’S HOPE and raced wide as a consequence. Over the final stages TEMNICK and MINNIE’S HOPE bumped.

GLEN GALLON @ STUD 5^th GRADE HEAT 2 395M

HOOROO OLLIE was best to begin. Into the 1^st turn MANYARA MISS, EFFIE ROSE HI, MAGIC PASS, WHO SAID and MIRANDA ROSE HI raced tight, resulting in SUMMER’S RACER, MAGIC PASS and EFFIE ROSE HI to lose ground. TATTOO and MIRANDA ROSE HI raced wide for the majority.

The greyhound SUMMER’S RACER was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off side hock and was stood down for a period of 14 days.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5^th GRADE HEAT 3 395M

Even start. Through the 1^st turn there was tightening from every runner and each suffered interference to various degrees except THOMAS ROSE HI which lost ground and BETTA BE RIGHT fell. SPEEDY’S MATE raced wide for the majority.

The greyhound BETTA BE RIGHT was vetted and no apparent injuries were found.
