CUP HEATS THURSDAY NIGHT MAIDEN HEAT 1 331M MAYFEATHER and MISTER SWIFTY were
slow to begin. Shortly after the start
HOSTESS WATKINS and SHE’S MY MATE bumped and lost ground. Leaving the back straight into the turn
SHAYLOR SKEETER and UMBRELLA HARRY collided and checked. HOSTESS WATKINS and SHE’S MY MATE which
were trailing were checked as a consequence.
SHAYLOR SKEETER and MISTER SWIFTY raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound HOSTESS WATKINS was
vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind webbing and was
stood down for a period of 14 days. |

@ BRISGREYS MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M OUTBACK TREASURE and AM LONG LONG
were slow to begin. Shortly after the
start WHOOP BANG shifted in and collided with SHAYLOR CHERRY which in turn
shifted in and collided with TEARAWAY MISSILE which was tightened and
collided with the running rail.
Leaving the back straight into the turn WHOOP BANG was tightened for
room and lost ground. Through the turn
into the front straight AM LONG LONG and OUTBACK TREASURE collided resulting
in both runners being checked. In the
back straight AM LONG LONG was tightened for room and hampered. HOPEFUL BLUE and WHOOP BANG raced wide in
the front straight. The greyhound TEARAWAY MISSILE was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |

SULZANTI @ STUD MIADEN HEAT 3 331M BROKEN
PROTOCOL and WAY BEFORE YOU were slow to begin. Shortly after the start MONLOR KIM and
OUTBACK STORM bumped, resulting in both runners being hampered. Leaving the
back straight into the turn MONLOR KIM and BROKEN PROTOCOL were tightened for
room and checked. TYCOON TERRY which was trailing was hampered and forced out
wider on the track as a result. TYCOON TERRY raced wide in the back straight. |

GARRARD’S HORSE & HOUND NOVICE 331M ELLIE’S LAST was slow to begin. HURRICANE HANSI became awkwardly. Shortly after the start HURRICAN HANSI was
tightened for room and lost ground.
Out of the back straight into the turn NOW THAT’S MAGIC was tightened
for room and checked. HURRICANE HANSI
and CASSIOPEIA bumped on several occasions out of the back straight. Through the turn into the front straight
PRICEY HOT shifted in tightening the running of WILDASH WIZARD which was
forced to check out across the heels of that runner. ELLIE’S LAST raced wide in the front and
back straights. |

GALLON @ STUD NOVICE 331M WHIRLY BLADE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start HANNAH ALLEN was
tightened for room and checked.
Leaving the back straight into the turn CHOPPER NORRIS was tightened
for room, checked, shifted out and collided with HANNAH ALLEN which in turn
shifted out and collided with WHIRLY BLADE resulting in both runners being
checked. ROYAL VILLAGE raced wide in
the front straight. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE 331M ALOTA TRICKS was best to begin. MARIO RACER began awkwardly. Rounding the turn into the front straight
FEARSOME MISS raced wide. Through the
turn into the front straight MAGIC JOAN and MARIO RACER collided resulting in
both runners being checked. MAGIC JOAN
bumped the running rail as a result. MARIO RACER raced wide in the back
straight. WHAT A GUN and STELLA ROSE
HI raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound MAGIC JOAN was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the near hind leg and was stood down
for a period of 7 days. |

THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 331M ULTIMATE STAR was best to
begin. FLYING RAVEN, JACK OSCAR and
BETTY’S GEM were all slow to begin.
Out of the back straight into the turn FLYING RAVEN was tightened for
room and checked. BETTY’S GEM raced
wide in the back straight. ULTIMATE
STAR and JACK OSCAR raced wide in the front straight. |

BRISGREYS.COM 5th GRADE 331M LEADFOOT EXPRESS and
THOMAS ROSE HI were slow to begin.
Shortly after the start ELL’S ALL CLASS and WIGGLE were tightened for
room and lost ground. THOMAS ROSE HI
which was trailing was hampered as a result.
Leaving the back straight into the turn ELL’S ALL CLASS was tightened
for room, checked, shifted in and collided with LEADFOOT EXPRESS resulting in
that runner falling and taking no further competitive part in the event.
LEADFOOT EXPRESS was severely checked from this incident. Through the turn
into the front straight JOHNNY MELODY checked out across the heels of
TATTOO. JOHNNY MELODY raced wide in
the back straight. TATTOO and JOHNNY
MELODY raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound ELL’S ALL
CLASS was vetted and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LEADFOOT
EXPRESS was vetted and found to have suffered an injury to the off fore leg
and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

RACING 4th GRADE 395M BOXING ROO GIRL was best to
begin. STORM ROSE HI was slow to
begin. Through the turn into the back
straight COSMIC LILY was tightened for room and checked. MISS MULLIGAN was hampered as a
result. In the back straight MISS
MULLIGAN was tightened for room and checked.
Through the turn into the front straight IBRA CADABRA shifted in and
marred the running of BOXING ROO GIRL. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Dart
that the greyhound IBRA CADABRA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st
offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks. |

GALLON @ STUD 5th GRADE 395M Even start. Approaching the 1st turn TINIE
TEMPAH and GUMTREE KID were both tightened for room and checked. Out of the turn into the back straight
KOKOMO BEACH bumped with PINK SCISSORS and was hampered. Through the turn into the front straight
BORN LEGACY checked across the heels of KOKOMO BEACH and raced wide. On entering the front straight PINK
SCISSORS shifted out and collided heavily with LUNA SEA resulting in both
greyhounds being checked. KOKOMO BEACH
and PINK SCISSORS raced wide in the back straight. BEETOWN TOMMY, PINK SCISSORS and BORN
LEGACY raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound BORN LEGACY was vetted
and found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down
for a period of 10 days. |

FLASHSTORM and CHADOR KAHN were both checked when tightened for room. Shortly after CONVEX was tightened for room
and hampered. Leaving the back
straight into the turn NO CALLARATAH was tightened for room and checked. JACKI FLASHSTORM raced wide rounding the
home turn into the straight. Through
the turn into the front straight CHEVY BLUE BOY and CHADOR KAHN collided,
resulting in both runners being checked. The greyhound NO CALLARATAH was
vetted and no apparent injuries were found. |
