NO CREAM was best to begin with the remainder evenly away. Soon after the start DIAMOND FLUSH, COSMIC
CAPERS and SORRENTO were all racing tight and bumping. Approaching the winning post TOOKA TURN and
COSMIC CAPERS collided. On the turn
out of the home straight DIAMOND FLUSH was wide. Entering the home straight CHULU CHULULU
and COOKIE NO CREAM collided forcing CHULU CHULULU wide. In the home straight DIAMOND FLUSH was wide. Approaching the finish post ALPHA IRIS,
SORRENTO, TOOKA TURN and SWIFT ENFORCER were all racing tight and bumping. The
greyhound COSMIC CAPERS underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Trainer
Mr. C Fry advised that he was disappointed with the run and it was the1st
time the greyhound is behind the field and he expected a lot better from the
performance. Stewards noted his
explanation. |

causing COME TOGETHER to check DUSKY SILK.
On the turn out of the home straight BATTY LOVES BEER and DON’T KNOCKA
TOM collided causing these 2 greyhounds to race wide. In the back straight BATTY LOVES BEER was
wide. On the top turn SPRING MARSHALL
checked off the heels of DON’T KNOCKA TOM causing SPRING MARSHALL to fall
checking COME TOGETHER. In the home
straight BATTY LOVES BEER was wide. The greyhound SPRING MARSHALL underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

start. Soon after the start ANOTHER
HASSLER dropped to the rear taking no further competitive part in the
event. On the turn out of the home
straight THIS TIME REBA was wide. In
the back straight VEGAS BOUND was wide.
Entering the turn out of the back straight SPRING BONANZA checked off
the heels of GRIM CREEPER. Entering
the home straight GUN LEGACY and VEGAS BOUND collided. In the home straight GRIM CREEPER was wide. The greyhound
EVIE’S ANGEL underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. Connections were
questioned by stewards and the trainer stated that the greyhound did not obtain
a start the previous week and he thinks the reason why the greyhound appeared
to fade in the concluding stages. The greyhound
ANOTHER HASSLER underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. D Turley that the greyhound would be charged under Rule
69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. Trainer advised stewards he was
disappointed in the greyhound’s performance and did not support the
