FROSTY FANTASY performed a 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time
of 18.96. The greyhound
GITCHA FANCY performed a 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a time of
19.34. Stewards Trial 1 – 520m The greyhound
MORAYFIELD SWIFT performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance
of 520m in a time of 30.46 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound FLASH
VENTURE performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in
a time of 30.53 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 17
May 2017. The greyhound LAST
ONE OUT performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 520m in
a time of 30.65 and is now cleared all tracks. The greyhound
DIAMOND FLUSH performed a satisfactory stewards’ & blinkers trial over
the distance of 520m in a time of 30.48 and is now cleared all tracks. |

UBET –
DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN 520M PHANTOM
PETE and KUKUDIO were best to begin with SANRICO ROSIE slowly away. Shortly after the start ALIMAY OSTI and
RICHMOND ROAD were tightened for room and momentarily hampered. BERT SWANG which was trailing checked off
those runner’s heels. Through the first turn IRINKA GAIL contacted the
hindquarters of KUKUDIO resulting in that runner to be hampered. Entering the
back straight ALIMAY OSTI commenced to give ground and finish a considerable
distance from the field. Rounding the
turn into the front straight PHANTOM PETE and KUKUDIO collided resulting in
PHANTOM PETE to be hampered and KUKUDIO to be checked. Shortly after BERT SWANG became momentarily
unbalanced and lost some ground. The
greyhound ALIMAY OSTI underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was
found to have suffered an injury to the off side pin and was stood down for a
period of 10 days. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND
HOUND NOVICE 520M PHANTOM HENRY
and JAYCEE’S LADY were slow to begin.
Approaching the first turn HURUNUI ALYSSA and HIPSTER were tightened
for room and checked. PHANTOM HENRY and
JAYCEE’S LADY which were trailing were checked and forced out wide entering
the turn as a consequence. Through the
first turn HURUNUI ALYSSA was tightened for room and checked. Over the concluding stages of the event
SORRENTO turned its head in and made muzzle contact with FREE SPIRIT. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Brauer that the greyhound
SORRENTO would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28
days plus satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 520M COWGIRL LUCY
and CHANCES were best to begin.
Shortly after the start MISTER DEBONAIR and LAST DRINKS were tightened
for room and checked. Approaching the first
turn LAST DRINKS contacted the hindquarters of LITTLE LUCY resulting in both
runners to be checked. Entering the first
turn COWGIRL LUCY and ROCKIN’ ALL OVER were tightened for room and
checked. Through the first turn
COWGIRL LUCY was tightened for room and checked. LITTLE LUCY and ROCKIN’ ALL OVER which were
racing to its outside were hampered as a consequence. Entering the turn out of the back straight
COWGIRL LUCY was tightened for room and checked. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 2 520M ALPHA ZEPHYR and DU HAST were best to begin. Shortly after the start FARAHMAC, SAY GOOD
DAY and PAW DIDEMIS were tightened for room and momentarily hampered. Approaching the first turn DU HAST was
tightened for room and checked.
FARAHMAC and PAW DIDEMIS which were trailing were hampered as a
consequence. Entering the turn out of
the back straight ALPHA ZEPHYR was tightened for room and hampered. |

SKY RACING 5th GRADE HEAT 3 520M HARA’S JESSICA was best to begin and SHARP SONGAR was
very slow to begin. In the front
straight on the first occasion IRONBAR RICKY and NATURAL LAD were tightened
for room and momentarily hampered.
Entering the first turn ORANGE THUNDER was tightened for room,
severely checked and fell taking no further competitive part in the
event. Through the first turn MIGHTY
NIMROD was tightened for room and checked.
SHARP SONGAR raced wide in the back and front straights. The greyhound ORANGE THUNDER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound VELOCITY LINDER underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards advised trainer Mr. S Scott that
the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st
offence, 28 days + satisfactory stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

varying degrees. Entering the front
straight on the first occasion COLD GAMBLER improved onto the heels of AUSSIE
DIAMOND and was checked as a consequence.
Entering the back straight AUSSIE DIAMOND and COLD GAMBLER collided
resulting in COLD GAMBLER to be checked and AUSSIE DIAMOND to be severely
checked. MASKED ZORRO which was trailing
those runners was hampered as a consequence. |

and ACE were tightened for room and checked to varying degrees. In the back straight LIL’S ROSE, COME AGAIN
JANE, CORY’S DIAMOND and GOTCHA CHA CHA were wide. Entering the turn out of the back straight
SPLENDID STAR was tightened for room and hampered. In the front straight LIL’S ROSE, CORY’S
DIAMOND and GOTCHA CHA CHA were wide. |
