GREYHOUND SPORTING CLUB MAIDEN 395M Even
start with the exception of REBEL KENNELLY, BEECHMONT FLYER and DYNAMITE PACE
which were all marginally slow to begin.
Approaching the turn into the back straight VIKING WHITE was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn into the back straight REBEL KENNELLY was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
In the back straight REBEL KENNELLY and DYNAMITE PACE collided. Leaving the back straight DYNAMITE PACE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. In the front straight during the run to the
finish FAKE NEWS and MULGOWIE YOWIE collided. |

hampered. Entering the back straight
WILD CONNECTIONS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight ACTUALIZE improved onto the hindquarters of AERIAL DYNAMITE
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

start. Approaching the turn into the
back straight COSMIC REX was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight CHIPPIE ROSE HI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. COSMIC REX raced wide leaving
the back straight and for the remainder of the event. The greyhound
COSMIC REX underwent a post-race veterinarian examination and was found to
have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period
of 7 days. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 395M Even start.
Shortly after the start NOTHING ELSE and COSMIC CRACKLE collided
resulting in COSMIC CRACKLE to be checked and lose ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
JOHN’S CHOICE was tightened for racing room, checked, lost ground, shifted
out and collided with COSMIC CRACKLE resulting in both greyhounds to be
checked and lose ground. Entering the
front straight DRUID PRINCE and SWIPE RIGHT collided. In the front straight during the latter
stages of the race SWIPE RIGHT turned its head and marred the running of
DRUID PRINCE. JOHN’S CHOICE and COSMIC
CRACKLE raced wide in the front straight. The greyhound DRUID PRINCE underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Mr. M Cuneo that the greyhound
SWIPE RIGHT would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence,
28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks. |

marginally slow to begin. Shortly
after the start SAPPHIRE QUEEN and STUBBORN STATE collided. Leaving the front straight SAPPHIRE QUEEN
and FROSTY FANTASY collided resulting in FROSTY FANTASY to be checked and
lose ground. WHO IT IS and MUMMA’S
HOPE were both checked as a result of this incident and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
HOOP DREAMS and ONE IN SIX collided resulting in ONE IN SIX to be checked and
lose ground. Approaching the turn into
the front straight MUMMA’S HOPE checked across the heels of ONE IN SIX and
was checked as a consequence. In the
front straight during the latter stages of the race SAPPHIRE QUEEN and WHO IT
IS collided. The greyhound FROSTY FANTASY underwent a post-race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

CLINT’S CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE FINAL 395M FREE SPIRIT was best to begin. DORITO BENZ was marginally slow to
begin. Through the 1st turn
REGAL HOPE was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. POWER OF PENNY and DORITO BENZ which were
both trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground. Entering the back straight I’M GLAD was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. REGAL HOPE and DORITO BENZ which were trailing
were both checked as a result of this incident. Leaving the back straight DODGY DANCER was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. I’M GLAD, DORITO BENZ and REGAL HOPE which
were all trailing were checked as a consequence and lost ground. |

as a consequence. The greyhound CELEBRITY BABE underwent
a post-race veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

GRADE 395M Even start.
Shortly after the start KAPPA NU and SIVAMET were both tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Through the 1st turn CUPPA TEA KIWI was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Entering the back straight SPRING FIRECHIEF shifted out and collided
with SIVAMET resulting in that greyhound to be checked and lose ground. BLUE LEXUS raced wide in the back
straight. SPRING FIRECHIEF which was
racing to its outside was checked as a consequence and race wide. SPRING FIRECHIEF again raced wide rounding
the turn out of the back straight which resulted in SPRING FIRECHIEF to be
checked and to race wide. In the front
straight during the latter stages of the race STORMAGEDDON turned its head
and marred the running of GUMTREE KID. The greyhound KAPPA NU underwent a post-race veterinarian
examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off fore webbing
and was stood down for a period of 10 days. Stewards advised trainer Ms. A Jarrick that the greyhound
STORMAGEDDON would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence,
28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 395m all tracks. |
