KNOCKS performed a satisfactory Return to Racing trial over the distance of
331m in a time of 18.97. The greyhound TINY
TURBO performed a satisfactory 6 month trial over the distance of 331m in a
time of 19.36. |

THIRTY TALKS
@ STUD MAIDEN HEAT 1 520M Even
start with MR. MICKEY and GALWAY ALICE slow.
Approaching the 1st turn GALWAY ALICE shifted out. In the 1st turn MR. MICKEY was
tightened for racing room and lost ground.
At the same time EXEMPTION and SIMMSY’S NINERON collided forcing
SIMMSY’S NINERON to run wide. Rounding
the turn out of the back straight EXEMPTION and FLYING COMET collided
resulting in EXEMPTION to lose ground. Stewards
advised trainer Mr. K Galloway that the greyhound GALWAY ALICE would be
charged under Rule 69 (B) Failing to Pursue plus injury. The greyhound underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
hind leg and was stood down for a period of 10 days plus a satisfactory
stewards’ trial 520m all tracks. |

MAIDEN HEAT 2 520M KYELLA was best to begin with LOOSE TABACCO coming up
with the lids. Shortly after the start
GALWAY CHEETA and IZY GOLD bumped. In the 1st turn MATADOR MAN got
onto the hindquarters of CASH MAN causing MATADOR MAN to shift out colliding
with MR. RALPH resulting in all greyhounds to be hampered. Rounding the 1st turn LOOSE
TABACCO and MATADOR MAN collided and both greyhounds were hampered. Entering the turn out of the back straight
LOOSE TABACCO was tightened for racing room and hampered. Entering the front straight MATADOR MAN and
MR. RALPH collided resulting in MR. RALPH to lose ground. In the front straight GALWAY CHEETA was
wide. The greyhound CASHMAN underwent a post-race veterinary
examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questioned license
trainer Mr Robert Cooke were he stated that this was the greyhounds first
race at albion park, CASHMAN had trailed he but did so in average time, he
also stated that he had not supported the greyhound. |

ASSET BODY CORPORATE BRIBIE ISLAND NOVICE 520M SIGHTZ was
best to begin with MR. BELVEDERE and SORRENTO slow. Shortly after the start SORRENTO and
BRITTANY TALKS bumped. Entering the 1st
turn DAZE LIKE THESE and BILLY BOY raced tight forcing BILLY BOY to shift out
and collide with IRINKA GAIL resulting in IRINKA GAIL and BILLY BOY to lose
ground. At the same time BRITTANY
TALKS, MR BELVEDERE and SORRENTO collided causing all greyhounds to lose
ground. Rounding the turn out of the
back straight SIGHTZ got onto the heels of BARBARELLA and IRINKA GAIL was
checked as a result causing all greyhounds to lose ground. The greyhound
SIGHTZ underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries
were found. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND NOVICE 520M Even start with TIARA GLOW and KEALOAH marginally slow.
In the 1st turn BELLA CETTE, CELESTIAL WHITE and KEALOAH collided causing CELESTIAL WHITE
and KEALOAH to lose ground, at the same time TIARA GLOW and WAY TO WITCHES
bumped. Leaving the 1st turn BELLA CETTE, CELESTIAL WHITE and
KEALOAH collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground. Entering the back
straight TIARA GLOW and AFFLICTION collided causing both to lose ground.
Leaving the back straight TIARA GLOW shifted out colliding with WAY TO
WITCHES causing TIARA GLOW to lose ground. |

CARAVAN WAREHOUSE 5th GRADE HEAT 1 520M Even start with LOBCHA marginally slow. Shortly after the start SPORTFAN and NEDGO
PRINCESS collided resulting in NEDGO PRINCESS to be hampered. In the 1st turn SPORTFAN and
NEDGO PRINCESS collided. At the same
time LOBCHA and BARBARA BENZ were wide.
Rounding the turn into the back straight RAGNAR LOTHBROK and SPORTFAN
bumped resulting in both greyhounds to be hampered. In the front straight BARBARA BENZ and
NEDGO PRINCESS were wide. |

marginally slow. In the 1st
turn COME TOGETHER got onto the heels of GRAND DASH causing COME TOGETHER to
lose ground. In the back straight
GRAND DASH was tightened for racing room and lost ground. In the front straight GRAND DASH and TOUGH
GUY FRIDAY bumped causing both to be hampered. |

slow. Approaching the 1st
turn UNIQUE MOTIVE and IRON MONARCH were tightened for racing room and lost
ground. Entering the 1st
turn UNIQUE MOTIVE, IRON MONARCH and ARABIAN GO GO collided forcing all
greyhounds wide and to lose ground.
Entering the front straight SNUG and GEMMA BENZ bumped. |

IMA RUNAWAY and AUSSIE DIAMOND collided resulting in IMA RUNAWAY to lose
ground. In the front straight CYCLONE
BARCI was wide. The greyhound IMA RUNAWAY underwent a
post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. |

turn EGYPTIAN MISS and LITTLE MISS SHOW were wide. Entering the front straight FLAPPING GUMS
and IRONBAR RICKY bumped. In the front
straight LITTLE MISS SHOW was wide. |

checked and hampered. Entering the
turn into the back straight ONE DOLLAR was tightened for racing room and lost
ground. As a result FORTUNE FADED was
checked and lost ground. The greyhound FORTUNE FADED underwent a post-race
veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |
