JAGGERNAUGHT and SAD REALITY were both tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. For the majority of the
back straight CONATY and SMART SHIRL raced tight resulting in both greyhounds
to be checked and lose ground. Leaving
the back straight CONATY was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. WALL OF VOODOO raced wide
rounding the turn out of the back straight. |

MAIDEN 331M HOT MUMMA’S BOY, GOLDEN STORM and FOLLOW THE DUK were
best to begin. NIRVANA BEACH was slow
to begin. Entering the back straight
GOLDEN STORM was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Shortly after KING DIESEL was tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground.
Leaving the back straight ZABDON MCGREGOR was tightened for racing
room, checked and lost ground. DELLA
CRUZ and KING DIESEL were both checked as a result of this incident. Entering the front straight GOLDEN STORM
and NIRVANA BEACH collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. The greyhound GOLDEN STORM underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near
fore metacarpal and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

start. Leaving the back straight SPOT
ROSE HI was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
GIDDY UP PATSY checked across the heels of SCREAM JET shifted out and
collided with NIFTY NEAGLE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and
lose ground. Rounding the turn into
the front straight SPOT ROSE HI shifted out and collided with GIDDY UP PATSY
resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. NIFTY NEAGLE which was racing to the
outside of GIDDY UP PATSY was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound
GIDDY UP PATSY underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. The greyhound
SPOT ROSE HI underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no apparent
injuries were found. |

ground. In the back straight TURBO
BURN shifted out which hampered the running of WOODY’S GIRL. Rounding the turn out of the back straight
WOODY’S GIRL was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. The greyhound PETRONAS TOWERS underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side wrist and was stood down for a period of 10 days. |

marginally slow to begin. Approaching
the turn into the back straight SMASHNIAK WINX was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. HESPERIDES
and WARPIG which were trailing collided heavily with SMASHNIAK WINX resulting
in all greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. Leaving the back straight PINK AXLE was
tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |

which was trailing was checked as a consequence and lost ground. The greyhound FABRICATED underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the both
back muscles and was stood down for a period of 6 weeks. |

COSADO SUN was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. RAQUEL’S MAGIC which was trailing was
checked as a consequence and lost ground.
Approaching the turn into the front straight NAUGHTY MAX improved onto
the heels of MR. WOODS and was momentarily held up for clear running. Entering the front straight HARA’S HOOK and
MR. WOODS collided resulting in MR. WOODS to be checked and lose ground. NAUGHTY MAX which was trailing was checked
as a consequence and lost ground. In
the front straight IRON MONARCH checked across the heels of TUCO SALAMANCA
and was hampered as a consequence. |

Through the 1st turn LUNCHBOX was tightened for racing
room, checked, shifted out and collided with BIG TRIGGER resulting in BIG
TRIGGER to be severely checked and fall taking no further part in the
race. WAIKARIE SYLVIE which was trailing
then made heavy contact with the hindquarters of LUNCHBOX resulting in both
greyhounds to be severely checked and lose considerable ground. The greyhound BIG TRIGGER underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and no apparent injuries were found. The greyhound LUNCHBOX underwent a post race veterinarian
examination and no apparent injuries were found. |
