UBET – DOWNLOAD THE APP MAIDEN HEAT 1 331M

Even start.  Shortly after the start HOT MUMMA’S BOY was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight KRANKY and FAN THE BREEZE collided causing FAN THE BREEZE to lose ground.  In the front straight KRANKY and MOJO ROSE HI bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

ZILLMERE SPORTS CLUB MAIDEN HEAT 2 331M

Even start with CADELIN ROSE HI and DEMOLISHMENT slow.  Shortly after the start GO FOR CHUCK was tightened for racing room with DEMOLISHMENT checked as a result and both greyhounds were hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight CAEDLIN ROSE HI shifted out colliding with EBONNIE causing both greyhounds to race wide and lose ground.  Entering the home straight EBONY SANDS and SATIN LUSTRE bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.

 

The greyhound DEMOLISHMENT underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

 

The weather was downgraded after this race to ‘Showery’.

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 331M

 

SMASHNIAK ROCKS and FASCINTAE JACOB were best the begin. Shortly after the start DOUBLE OAK clipped heels of SUCCATASH causing SUCCATASH to loose ground. Rounding the turn out of the back straight PETRONAS TOWERS was tightened for racing room and lost ground. Entering the front straight SUCCATASH clipped heels and was hampered.

 

The greyhound SUCCATACH underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found. Stewards questions Mr Michael Edwards the representative for Mr Malcolm Cuneo about the performance of the greyhound, where he stated that the SUCCATACH had limited preparation leading up to the event and the connection had not supported the greyhound.

 

Stewards questioned Mr Christopher Kadniak on the improved performance of SMASHNIAK ROCKS were he stated that he had not changed anything in the preparation to the race and that the greyhound had jumped well. He further stated that the connection had not supported the greyhound.

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD NOVICE 331M

DORRY’S DREAM was best to begin with SHORT SESSION marginally slow.  Shortly after the start SHORT SESSION, MISS AMELIA and BARNEY BE GOOD all collided causing SHORT SESSION and MISS AMELIA to lose ground.  In the back straight DORRY’S DREAM and ANGEL SHOW bumped causing DORRY’S DREAM to lose ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight MISS AMELIA and BARNEY BE GOOD shifted out wide.  Entering the front straight MISS AMELIA turned its head outwards to BARNEY BE GOOD making muzzle contact.  In the front straight SHORT SESSION turned its head outwards to AERIAL DYNAMITE but did not make muzzle contact.

 

Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Hazelgrove that the greyhound MISS AMELIA would be charged under Rule 69 Marring, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 331m all tracks.

 

The greyhound SHORT SESSION underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.  Stewards advised trainer Mr. R Hazelgrove that the greyhound would be charged under Rule 69 (A) Failing to Pursue, 1st offence, 28 days plus a satisfactory stewards’ trial 331m all tracks.

Even start with COSMIC ELITE marginally slow.  Shortly after the start BLACK SCORPION was tightened for racing room and hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight SPICE BUCKET, ELLY BYE BYE and JUDY BALE all raced tight and were hampered.  In the front straight COSMIC ELITE was wide.

Even start.  Shortly after the start DEEJAY BURN was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the turn out of the back straight WITHCOTT FLYER was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Shortly after RULE THE ROAD stumbled and was marginally hampered.  Rounding the turn into the home straight WITHCOTT FLYER was checked by TELAM BUGSY GIRL causing WITHCOTT FLYER to lost ground.

BARRA TRIP was best to begin.  Leaving the 1st turn CELEBRITY BABE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  BARRA TRIP and COSMO CYNDIE were both checked as a result.  Entering the back straight BARRA TRIP was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight EVIE’S ANGEL and FABULOUS WALL bumped and both lost ground.  Entering the home straight EVIE’S ANGEL, FABULOUS WALL and HOPE’S MAGIC collided causing HOPE’S MAGIC and EVIE’S ANGEL to be hampered.  In the home straight CELEBRITY BABE and COSMO CYNDIE were wide.

 

The greyhound CELEBRITY BABE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

Even start.  In the 1st turn SHAYLOR ANDRE, ROMEO RAGTOP, FREE SPIRIT, CHEVALEIR NUIT and HA HA CLASSY collided and all greyhounds were hampered.  Entering the back straight SHAYLOR ANDRE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Entering the home straight SHAYLOR ANDRE and ROMEO RAGTOP bumped and both greyhounds lost ground.

Even start.  In the 1st turn SMASHNIAK WINX was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  At the same time SWEET AND CLASSY and SAGA NOREN bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Entering the back straight SWEET AND CLASSY got onto the heels of BOGIE TEEJAY causing both greyhounds to lose ground.  Rounding the turn into the home straight SMASHNIAK WINX clipped heels, shifted out and lost ground.  In the back straight REGAL BILL was wide.  In the home straight WESTMEAD DAFFIE was wide.

 

The greyhound SWEET AND CLASSY underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injuries were found.

UBET – THE NEW TAB 5th GRADE 395M

Even start.  Shortly after the start SPRING CHICKIE was tightened for racing room and lost ground.  In the 1st turn CHIEF ROSE HI, CLASSIC CHA CHA, KANDAHAR PRINCE and SANDLER all collided causing all greyhounds to lose ground.  Entering the back straight CLASSIC CHA CHA shifted out colliding with KANDAHAR PRINCE and both greyhounds ran wide and lost ground.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight HANNAH JAY JAY and LUNCHBOX were both tightened for racing room and lost ground.  Approaching the finishing line HANNAH JAY JAY and CHIEF ROSE HI bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  In the back straight SPRING CHICKIE and CLASSIC CHA CHA both gave ground in open running.

 

The greyhound CLASSIC CHA CHA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off side wrist and was stood down for a period of 28 days.

 

The greyhound SPRING CHICKIE underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side pin and was stood down for a period of 21 days.

Even start with AZTEC FLASH slow to begin.  Shortly after the start DAVID’S MEMORY, SHAYLOR LES and GOLDEN MANNERS collided causing SHAYLOR LES to lose ground.  Entering the back straight AZTEC FLASH and SHAYLOR LES bumped causing both greyhounds to be hampered.  Rounding the turn out of the back straight AZTEC FLASH and SILVER STICKA bumped on numerous occasions causing AZTEC FLASH to lose ground.

 

The greyhound SILVER STICKA underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the near side hip and was stood down for a period of 7 days.
