AGRO’S THUNDER performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of
395m in a time of 23.22 and is now cleared all tracks. Stewards Trial 1 – 331m The greyhound MISS
AMELIA performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in
a time of 19.25 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 28
October 2017. The greyhound SHORT
SESSION performed a satisfactory stewards’ trial over the distance of 331m in
a time of 19.01 and is now cleared all tracks except Brisbane until after 28

start. Through the 1st turn
SCIPIO AFRICANUS was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the back straight
WAIKARIE MAGIC was tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. SO SABRINA which was trailling was checked
as a consequence and lost ground.
Shortly after INTERACTION was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. SCIPIO AFRICANUS which
was trailling was checked as a consequence and lost ground. Approaching the turn into the front
straight WAIKARIE MAGIC was tightened for racing room, checked and lost
ground. |

THIRTY TALKS @ STUD
NOVICE 520M Even start with the exception of MR. RALPH and KNOCKA
NOVA which were both slow to begin. In
the front straight on the 1st occasion BRITTANY TALKS and
ACTUALIZE were tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
ACTUALIZE and KNOCKA NOVA collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked
and lose ground. SILVER RUMBLE raced
wide rounding the turn out of the front straight which hampered the running
of VELOCOTY MARLINA. Entering the back
straight ELOISE was tightened for racing room, shifted out and collided with
ACTUALIZE resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. |

BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5th GRADE 520M Even
start. Rounding the turn out of the
front straight INDOMINOIUS DANE raced wide which hampered the running of
JACOBY RAIDER and NEVER A DOUBT.
Leaving the back straight JACOBY RAIDER was tightened for racing room,
checked and lost ground. The greyhound
INDOMINOUS DANE underwent a post race veterinarian examination and no
apparent injuries were found. When
questioned over the performance of the greyhound, trainer Mr. D Turley stated
that the INDOMINOUS DANE was having its 1st start over the 520m
distance and may have lost its way rounding the first turn. He stated that it would his intentions to
continue racing INDOMINOUS DANE over the 520m as he was of the view the
greyhound will step up to that distance. |

ASPLEY LEAGUES CLUB 5th GRADE 520M NAMROD was best to begin.
TERRANORA and LOZZA’S TROUBLE were slow to begin. Rounding the turn out of the front straight
HARA’S HOOK, LOZZA’S TROUBLE and DAZE LIKE THESE were all tightened for
racing room, checked and lost ground. |

GARRARD’S HORSE AND HOUND 5th GRADE 520M ZABDON LAMBO and CHOC LATTE CLOUD were best to
begin. ALPHA CHAOS and COOPOLLY BEACH
were slow to begin. Rounding the turn
out of the front straight ZABDON LAMBO improved onto the heels of CHOC LATTE
CLOUD. Rounding the turn into the
front straight DREAM BLASTER and CHOC LATTE CLOUD collided. |

SKY RACING 5th
GRADE 600M The start of this race was delayed when the muzzle on
MINNIE MARTINI had to be replaced. Even start with the exception of HARA’S SAM, PORT LISA
and FIRST FIRE which were all slow to begin.
Rounding the turn into the front straight on the 1st
occasion HARA’S SAM and PORT LISA collided resulting in HARA’S SAM to be
severely checked and lose considerable ground with PORT LISA falling and
taking no further part in the race. In
the front straight on the 1st occasion FIRST FIRE and HARA’S BUNDY
collided. Approaching the turn into
the back straight FIRST FIRE checked across the heels of SAY GOOD DAY and
lost ground. The greyhound PORT LISA underwent a post race
veterinarian examination and was found to have suffered an injury to the off
side pin and was stood down for a period of 7 days. |

collided resulting in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. SWIFT NIMROD raced wide rounding the turn
out of the front straight. Rounding

marginally slow to begin. Through the
1st turn SMASHNIAK OPAL was tightened for racing room, checked and
lost ground. Entering the back
straight SIR TO YOU improved onto the hindquarters of BIG TRIGGER resulting
in both greyhounds to be checked and lose ground. Shortly after DAVID’S MEMORY was tightened
for racing room, checked and lost ground.
Rounding the turn out of the back straight SMASHNIAK OPAL and DAVID’S
MEMORY were bot h tightened for racing room, checked and lost ground. |
